OH MY GAWD. One of my best loved webtoons getting a drama adaptation? I am all in for this!
I liked how intricate the storyline was with respect to Karthik's love life, but the movie overall was such a let down
Ah the main lead is so annoyingly adorable! I am HONESTLY in love with Go-eun and her acting. It is what I acknowledge as skillful art and Yoo Gong is also doing a good job so far. WAIT, other than that!
Dong-wook oppa (I can't believe I'm doing this) has my heart. Both his acting, facial expertise and voice acting are top! Words can't acknowledge this guy enough. And yeah I totally ship them, figure who lol

An awesome movie with a very intelligent open ended ending! Strong messages are hidden in the movie. When one deserves the respect, she would come claim it no matter what! Hoping for Stree 2. 8/10

A terrible form of criticism about the world of education, especially in Thailand.
Nanno is the bearer of direct karma for the perpetrators of problems in the world of education. It can be terrible, but it can also be mind-blowing.
If you love the work of Junji Ito and had read Tomie.
Well, I recommend this show as the main character
have Tomie vibes.
The movie was an okay-pass. Nothing too catchy and/or flashy. Good to know that Bollywood has at least some hope.
If only life were as honey as was shown in this movie, I would have killed for it.
Must-watch!! Although not everyone might love it as much as me. I loved the series because it was not a cliché romance or cliché high school slice-of-life and contained vital pieces of memory and knowledge which often go unnoticed by many whom I've witnessed watch this (with me, or through social). The characters were prone to change, teen-like, hilarious and understanding. They weren't all :v_tone2:godly:v_tone2: and looked pretty human most of the time—I hope you get me~
When We Were Young is a refreshing, enjoyable and healthily-entertaining watch. All in all, I recommend it; not to everyone, but a must!
Great take on a classic character, unexpectedly good and with the best song soundtrack in a while
It was a eye-candy, literally. The animation or whatever it was, was beautiful and the story was also painfully believable. The depiction was all interesting and realistic to the point of me rating it 10 hearts!~
Edit: I'll be changing my rating to 8 stars instead of 10, because I realized it's not great to be high on emotion all the time when it comes to ratings. Lol?
If it wasn't for the visuals and the amazing 3D, it would have been a let-down. However, it was made for the effects and I think it did justice to the 3D world and what a world it was.
Vincenzo is all about that poetic justice and I couldn't have asked for more. Well, maybe...Jang Han Seo deserved better, but otherwise, this was near perfect and I'll definitely miss waiting for new episodes every week!
I'm a sucker for mafia stories and just knew I have to watch this. I honestly was not planning on watching it since Song Joong ki is not my go to actor ever since I watched DOTS. I forced myself into watching the first episode and was not disappointed. Its really gripping and enjoyable (when violence isn't there). I also loved the whole villian/mafia thing. There are times when I felt it was a bit mediocre for ex. early on when the geumga plaza shop owners would keep pushing Vincenzo and using him. But looking at it from an overall perspective it was a great kdrama.
I enjoyed this! Except some of "flying" scenes which the Anime portrayed very well (of course), the entire movie was a fairly entertaining treat and I liked it. I especially liked that Raku's harem was made into a jolly friend circle where everyone appreciated earnest sacrifice and were pure and understanding characters. This changed the original story a bit, but no doubt it was a great watch. I was laughing throughout (well, deliberately leaving out the cringe) :joy::fire:
I'm giving this a slightly higher rating than what I meant to because this was my first ever watching of a live-action adaptation of an Anime~
My weakness is cringy anime/manga live actions and god did I enjoy this. It was nice to watch and enjoyable. I'm not saying its a 10/10 but it is fairly decent and nice.
I love this series. It's one of my go to feel-good-fluffy series when I'm down or not feeling to well. This can always magically make a smile appear on my face no matter how depressed or terrible I'm feeling. It isn't a high-standing series, but to me it has it's purpose. ^^
It's wonderful to see some great new talented young actors. wonderful new take on the story as well.
I expected something completely different, something mediocre and cliché and to my surprise it was actually really good and dealt with very serious topics. I thought this would be more of a romcom and from the start it showed all the signs of it but by the middle it got more serious and I'm honestly shocked at how invested I was while watching.
It ended on a light note which was nice.
LIKE TRAIN TO BUSAN BEFORE THERE WERE TRAINS.
This is bad. A bad, slow, poor adaptation from the comics. And, hell, I watched it through 4 1/2 seasons... I mean, c'mon, 1st season is great! 2nd is ok. 3rd is meh. But 4th? 4th is "what the hell are the producers doing to this show?" horrible. And now they announce that the 6th (FU*&%ING 6TH!!!) season will have... ZOMBIES?? Isn't this SUPPOSED to be a ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE SHOW? And they announce zombies as if it was a great turn of events in the show... Really? o.O
No, don't bother telling me what happened to the show after the first half of 4th season. I'm pretty sure I can sum that up in only three syllables: "bla bla bla"...
I give it 2 hearts. And that is because 1st and 2nd seasons really entertained me, despite what they did to some characters (like... what? 19 episodes to kill Shane? Seriously? Why? And why is Lori so annoying? Someone please kill her!! \o/ YESSS! Thank you Carl! That's my boy!! Now I can stop watching this crap! Oh no, wait! The Governor appears! YESS!! ............. Aaaaand, he's boring. -_-' ).
I'm not really a fan of the zombie genre and for me to say this it's because it truly amazed me
Kingdom is by far the best series of the genre
This show has everything. The scenography is awesome! I believe the cultural aspects are respected too, though i am not an expert at all, just a feeling. Most importantly: THE PLOT. Is not some sort of shitty plot like: there's zombies, let's do stuff (yeah TWD). The plot is consistent, there are zombies and there is a reason, also their strenghts/weaknesses are defined, and we discover them with the characters. Is not 100% clear yet, but there is a sense of progress of the plot, not just a repetition of the same stupid mistakes and dumb characters. Every character here has his own story and personality and as of now, you'll be surprised, IT MAKES SENSE. This show literally saved the zombie genre! Must watch.
I loved the show. It popped up on my recommendations screen and instantly had me hooked. What I didn't know was that I'd be much more than hooked with this show: I love it. I am not a huge fan of gore and zombies but after watching this, I am rethinking my preferences. The fantastic graphics and props added to the terribly mind-blowing acting and made it an awesome combo! Still I regret watching it all in a day because now I'll have to wait a year for the next season.
Never mind, anything for preference and quality shows :wink:
Kinda sad that we have to deal with an American remake for every successful non-american movie
This is a show that proves there's still life in zombies (pardon the pun). Kingdom proudly wears the horror badge, and it's undoubtedly deserved. In a time where the genre got stale and is plagued with jump scares, this little Korean gem manages to get under your skin and make you afraid to turn off the lights. I lost all my fingernails watching this...
It you're into horror, this is a must watch!
Really enjoyed this one. Being a period drama is what lured me in, and I don't wish to call it a zombie series nor compare it to TWD. The show is more than just a plagued medieval country and the fight against the diseased. Looking forward to the next season.
It's going to be difficult to write about this one
I have mixed feelings with this drama, I love the acting of the three main leads (althought Teacyeon on the first episodes was so cringey), I like the story and every technical aspect but on the other hand plot development was sometimes all over the place and I didn't quite like the rest of the characters wich is a shame because that will make me love this a little bit more, I enjoy the fact that Vincenzo was a real gangster and he actually took revenge, it would've been so bad if he just forgive them so praise to that.
I guess this is one of those dramas you either hate it or love it but you can't deny it's worth watching, I mean, look at the production, not only super expensive but well used of all that money.
Highkey don't want a second season because I don't feel like writing was that good to have a sequel.
Rating: 8.2/10
