I ended up watching this with my wife, because she loves this movie. It was ok. It’s basically a very run of the mill chick flick about a bad boy getting his life together when he finally unexpectedly meets his princess.
“ - Jane Smith: Any last words?
- John Smith: The new curtains are hideous.”
The movie is very good, don't care about the reviews.
This is what happens when people are influenced by reviews.
Have your own opinion without being influenced.
i usually hate movies like this but something about that little nerd in the lead role is so attractive to me and i did enjoy watching this.
This movie is probably a notch below movies like "The Hangover," "The 40 Year Old Virgin" and "Wedding Crashers," but it definitely holds it own and you will most definitely find yourself laughing hard more than once.
Reboot this as much as you want Maguire was the best Spider-Man.
Unfortunately this was pretty dry. I mean, what happened to Ashton Kutcher? It's like he didn't even try in this one smh.
I cared more for the Plane in Plane than Superman in Batman v Superman
I saw this film with low expectations for a few reasons: the ridiculous title, the fact that it is a January release, and the initial trailer. Suffice it to say, but I was pleasantly surprised. The film is entertaining. It lives up to the B-movie action flick that the trailer encapsulates. There’s a few shots in particular: a fight scene that was filmed in mostly one take, and several kill shots in the third act that are just pure R rated fun. This isn’t a perfect movie, but it is far from a rotten tomato.
If you were at all interested from the trailer, you should go and check this out.
7/10 - entertaining action, some terrible CGI, some scenes were unnecessary to the story.
Google doesn't need an ad, we all know what google is. Dude, seriously.
I like this movie, the drama in the situations and relationships is just awesome (imo), entertaining and emotional :-) Now if you don't like that, it's fine. You don't have to like it, and if you find it "long and boring" then why the fuck watch this "long and boring ad for google". You're only waisting your own time.
Also. Dylan O'Brien is so fucking sexy as a geek. I just can't. fangirls WARNING TO FANGIRLS: prepare your ovaries, they might explode ;)
i thought it would suck bad. it was better than I expected.
Ok but pretty borring 5/10
Very uninspired third act ruins what was building up to be a rather decent and reflective story with striking visuals to match. The end reduced it to another soulless action flick with a generic bad guy with daddy issues, a himbo and his lady friend who barely gets her time in the sun (literally). Disappointing.
probably the best film michael bay has made since "the island" or maybe even since "the rock", it feels like a summer blockbuster from the 90s, reminiscent of "speed" and "con air", but not so much in a campy way like "the expendables" - rather in a completely sincere michael bay way, with massive car chases, loud explosions and strange rollercoaster-like camera movements
also, this looks like it cost a lot more to make than it actually did, demonstrating that bay doesn't need a 9-figure budget to make a big action flick
btw, this is actually a remake of a danish film from 2005, but if they had called it "grand theft auto" instead of "ambulance", it would have been a more successful video game adaption than "uncharted" was
Seems like Michael Bay got some drones for a Christmas !
Ultimately, this is just another high school comedy with a Rebel Wilson twist. Some scenes are funny but there are long stretches when it fails to make the grade.
..clicks play......ehhhhhhhhh....hmmmmm....stop... exit... Click Pornhub dot com ahhhhhhh better.
.squirt!!! The end
Movie sucks but the deaths are hilarious
How much I enjoyed this movie, I'm glad I gave it a chance.
This is a very charming movie. The movie deals with stereotypes and racism in the 1960s as well as you would expect. Racism is bad, stereotypes aren't always true but the journey is fun with these two. Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali are both fantastic. They play very well off each other. Being directed by Peter Farrelly there are quite a few funny moments too.
Amazing story. Well played out too. I love the characters.
Still holds up really well over 20 years later, and even more relevant now.
My main problem was the guy they cast. Just bad acting. He has the most monotone delivery, just killed any sense of chemistry. Lucy did her best but it wasn't enough.
Love this. Basically a Jackie Chan movie in English with a white guy
Really enjoyed the movie and the music.
