I like these kind of stories, it can reach us and offer another perspective. We live in a society full of mean people, don't mind them, stop caring about what they think. Accept who you are. Stop being insecure about everything. Just be yourself and love yourself.
a very very bad movie . nothing to understand don't loose your time watching it
Candyman Candyman Candyman Candyman Candym...
Don't say that name!
Watching this feels like watching two different movies. The first movie is one in which jokes are forced and music feels shoehorned in. It feels like the writers and director are beating you over the head trying to make the point of "look, look, remember us? remember how you liked music and jokes the last time?" For me the first half of this movie is a poor imitation of the first Guardians of the Galaxy. 6/10.
All of this changes around an hour into the movie however. Once they actually started moving forward with the plot, this movie becomes something special. The second half of this movie is perhaps the best thing that Marvel Studios has put to screen. It is so heartfelt and moving, the comedy lands PERFECTLY every time, and the movie makers allow us as an audience to remember what we loved about these characters the first time around organically. The second half of this movie is almost flawless.
Special mention to Dave Bautista's Drax... by far and away the character that stole the show. HILARIOUS!
It would have been better off as a series but nevertheless it was a great movie that I hope gets a sequel. I love the characters and the aminations.
Without SLJ this would be a mediocre movie. And that's how it felt until he had his entrance. From that moment on, the movie really gets rolling. Nobody plays "cool" like him.
But I don't think I would want to see another Shaft movie with Junior.
Terrance J Acting was SO Horrible.. But the movie is still enjoyable to watch
Has one of the best opening sequences you can find in a movie!
Worth your time, comes off with lots of love, a film to watch before death. Powerful. Say's a lot. Makes you think. I didn't expected the ending. Beautiful. Great performance from all. Strong film. A story that I'm sure will make you shed a tear or two. It it felt like a xmas carol with a twist.
Tear jerker made me reflect on my life which I don't normally look back at the past. I keep always turn around to keep my future ahead of me. So it hit home. Love Will Smith is there anything he can't do.
Wow. The reviews of this are ridiculous. I'm so tired of the armchair "critics" out there today, and the nonsense they whine about. Sure, there's nothing all that noteworthy here, but it's a pretty good weepy with some good performances. If you're in that kind of mood or dig these actors give it a go.
Time will show that Love will be the Death of us all.
Disclosure: I didn't know anything about the movie prior to seeing it besides seeing the trailer. I didn't research it because I hate spoilers. But in this case I think this was a mistake.
First, I loved the movie. The story is interesting, though predictable, the pacing is fine. During the whole movie the story was building on and when it finally came time to hit the climax - the movie ended! I had one of those WTF?! moments. I was really disappointed because I felt that the whole movie was intro into the story and the action was rising only to end right before the climax. Like I didn't get the feeling of a conclusion. I didn't have the same feeling with any of the other YA trilogies or multi-part movies. It was obvious that another movie will be coming but I cannot stop comparing it to one of those books that don't provide answers unless you read the next book. I hate those books!
So if you are like me better wait for next movie to come out and then watch them back to back.
It's never a good sign when a title has your eyes rolling before seeing the movie. It doesn't help how the whole thing plays out.
"Everything, Everything" is sweet and harmless, but the whole thing feels like a girls fantasy of romance. Corny writing, predicable ending, and the soundtrack straight from someones play list. At least the performances were decent.
Okay so walking into the theater I wasn't exactly expecting much however wow I was blown away complete must see
What is the point to watch this movie?
I think there's no point at all.
-Smart boy: We should try again with small objects, and then bacteria, plants..
-Hot girl: Nah, let's try it ourselves!
-Smart boy: Ok!
The power of boner is stronger than reason.
8/10... Comédia brilhante, humor inteligente, provocativo, gags tremendos, dinamismo sempre presente, bitches show... e daria para continuar.
What a hidden gem it is !! A must watch for everyone. Just go for it. You will definitely love it !!
The funniest movie of all the funny movies. My stomach hurt from laughing. Ready to partey.
Excellent movie, way better than what I expected.
I really enjoyed it, and I agree, Kristen Wiig is awesome.
Batman Forever is probably the only movie I saw back to back at the theater. I enjoyed it a lot until I realized just how bad a lot of Batman's dialogue is. "I wouldn't fit in at a family pic-nic" or "I'll get drive-thru."
I must have had my brain shut off when I saw it back to back. The movie is fun if you don't think about how bad it is compared to the 1989 film before it.
Jim Carrey's over-acting along with Tommy Lee Jones' is a shame. Since they both would have been great in their roles if the film wasn’t so campy. If Carrey was told to tone it down and shut the F up and be more serious as the Riddler by a better director. He could have been great.
Kilmer isn’t a bad Bruce Wayne and is a better Bruce Wayne than he is Batman. Maybe because he has better lines as just Bruce.
I think the movie is well cast but the approach they took was definitely in the wrong direction. Batman & Robin is proof because that took a wrong direction and took the franchise straight off a cliff.
What a complete waste of time.
Totally not worth your time or money.
Did the father have wives of 3 different asian nations, or was it just crappy casting?
Actually fell asleep in the theater. An altogether boring plot and I felt Sandra Bullock did a particularly poor job acting. The movie might have had more success if it wasn't attached to the Ocean's franchise.
Unexpectedly good. Both Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx give some solid performances. The plot is simple but it's very well done and engaging. The subway train scene is my favorite, I loved every second of it.
Epic!! one of the best movies in recent years i loved this & own the bluray.
Only kept watching in the hopes of seeing Gilf titties
