I thought the point of using the nano strings was to caused as minimum destruction as possible, because the point of the mission was to retrieve information, and they didn’t know what it was, like a black box, records, journals, a hard drive… or where it was, and at first I was like yes this makes sense but then the whole ship collapsed and it stopped making sense.
And isn’t it hilarious that the aliens turned on us because of freaking little red riding hood??
Assumptions at every level. For one, they say that the people filmed visited numerous drop boxes yet only show the video of said person only at 1 location.
In this mocumentary you will learn that 1+1=7 and that there is not a conspiracy theory that MAGA people won't fall for!
Flawed movie using unfounded data. No actual fraud found.
All this most likely shows is ballot harvesting, legal in many states. Gathering legal ballots from family and depositing them. Every state uses differen paper, envelopes,etc.. How mules got that is never discussed.
From Reuters: “Listing all of the steps needed to falsify a ballot, Gronke told Reuters: “1) You need a falsified ballot with a unique bar code, printed on special paper, and a special envelope. If the claim is that you’ve somehow obtained 400,000 original ballots without the elections officials or voters knowing, how precisely did you do this?
“2) You need to successfully forge the voter’s signature. 3) You need to deposit the envelope and have it validated by a local official.
“Congratulations! Besides committing a felony, you have now cast ONE fraudulent ballot. Now you need to figure out how to do that hundreds of thousands of times, in different jurisdictions, with different ballot styles and different voting materials.””
People with half a brain should know almost everything in this movie has been debunked in an actual court of law. Just watch this as a fantasy documentary and you will be just fine.
One of the best TV sci-fi programmes to date, and maybe of all-time since the start of on-demand streaming. Complex plots exist throughout but are still understandable. There are many different groups of people in the show to focus on, including different factions. So glad that Amazon saved the show from SyFy who wasn't renewing after season 3, despite it being the most successful season to date. Season 4 (date TBC) will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video. Many thanks to all of those who participated in the #SaveTheExpanse campaign on social media.
Syfy finally got the message and has finally produced some of the smartest, boldest proper sci-fi any one could see in years. A very conceptual show, not a big one on characters. I know some people are drawn to different types of shoes like that - definitely one to check out either way.
How can they release a crap like Obi Wan and then Andor which is damn amazing. This episode was a masterclass.
Just finished watching the pilot and I have to say, WOW!! This show is so much better than other sci-fi/space related shows that came out earlier this year. The first show has gripped me and I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the reason. Do NOT pass this up. Must watch even if you aren't a fan of space related shows!!
I'm in love with everything about this, but reusing the Game of Thrones title theme is some bullshit. Djawadi is perfectly capable of writing something new and exciting, or an alternate orchestration at the very least.
Coincidence that Alexander Skarsgård — aka. Eric Northman — stars in this movie? I think not!
Station Eleven rewards patience, but that's a big ask for the cellphone / social media generation. Story progression within an episode is sluggish and it requires an alert mind to notice the important little things you'll probably miss if you're feeling bored. Throw Lost and The Leftovers in a blender, add a very mild hallucinogen, mix well, and pour out a nice glass of Station Eleven. Enjoy, but drink slowly. The taste is subtle, but the kick will be stronger than you think.
My god, this was so good. It was beautifully put together and I went from laughing to crying within seconds. This was a beautiful insight to the artist of the decade
Cinematic masterpiece. I love everything about this movie.
I missed movies like this one
This is Sci-Fi at it's finest. An original and emotional exploration of the nature of language and time, and a masterfully done sequence of what a plausible non-extintion level first contact would look. Every element fits cohesively to build a strong atmosphere; music, cinematography, audio effects are top notch and will stick with me probably forever. I wanted to rewatch this move the moment it ended.
One of my favourites of this year. Amy is such a treat. Denis Villenueve once again hits it out of the park. Love the music and drive notes. Amazing aliens. Wicked cool writing by aliens.
Excellent sci-fi movie that requires an active brain to enjoy it... But I still wanted to know more about Portuguese! D:
Subtle, imaginative, and well-told story that doesn't rely on big-budget effects or a body count. Original, unique concepts weaved together for an enjoyable movie. If you're looking for high-tech space battles, fast-paced action and death -- this isn't that kind of SciFi -- move along... ;-)
If you're looking for an action and "turn brain off now" film, just don't watch it and spare us the 6-7 hearts review.
I for one, am very tired from 500$m crap like Indi Day and Marvel's poop. So I was very excited to watch this one.
This one is more like Spielberg's Encounters from the Third Kind. It's more about the characters in the film and the amazing journey they go through. It's mostly about the human behavior that will make you think.
While it's not an End of the World aliens movie like Battle: Los Angeles, it still offers great amount of military presence and plenty of stuff that's going on.
So if you actually want to care about an intelligent movie and use your head - go. Otherwise, go watch an X men.
Highly recommended for some audience 10/10.
2-feb-2017 edit: Just came out on Bluray and I saw it again. Definitely keeping my rating.
Watching again at July-2023, excited towards Dune II : Excellent. Excellent film. So called plot-holes listed here are negligible when the overall product is really thoughtful and masterfully crafted.
That's it world you don't need another flick about Jobs.. this is IT.
I'm telling you i've never loved a biopic as much as this before
I haven't had such fun since Guardians of the Galaxy! Providing non-stop wit, gorgeous cinematography, and an absolutely stellar cast, Ant-Man is another victory for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
USA USA. No thanks. Removing from sickbeard. Only wish I could delete the memory of this show from my head.
Over cheesy lines
Bad accents
Terrible stock footage
Cliche
Usa rammed down my throat
Religion rammed down my throat
Argo expertly builds tension and makes you wonder whether the mission will succeed. Enjoyable, Suspenseful and well-acted.
A poor performance from a great cast.
The script didn't help.
Wow. A must see for any fans of A Scanner Darkly and/or Grant Morrison.
Mediocre, at best
... a rocket scientist ?!?!
