I love that there are still MAGA cult morons in the comments screeching about the show going "woke".
They've been mask-off openly mocking you for two seasons now. Surely it can't all be going over your head...right? Right...?
It’s pretty hilarious to see people all weak at the knees because Frenchie is “suddenly gay”. That bro has been displaying bisexual tendencies since season one. He admitted to “turning tricks” to make ends meet, and told MM to be “open minded” when love sausage wrapped his piece around him at Herogasm.
But it does suck that his relationship with Kimiko is seemingly on the outs. It’s been building up for a while so hopefully that’s just a curveball being thrown by the writers. I’ve always loved their dynamic.
Everyone hating on Frenchie is forgetting that Homelander is LITERALLY BISEXUAL IN THE COMICS AND SLEEPS WITH SOLDIER BOY!
People complaining about Frenchie "suddenly being gay" have clearly never met a gay person before.
Almost didn’t recognize Marvin from the weight lost and the mustache.
And I was not prepared to see Homelander without his costume
This season proves that a lot of the same ingredients can work more than once. In this case it works even better than the first season.
There’s more character build up and maybe even better music choices.
Last episodes don't have enough Henry Cavill in them!! Always loved the Witcher but it seemed hasted and rushed. Will continue to watch to see how it end. But Henry Cavill will always be my Witcher! Sorry not sorry Liam
For the first half I was like yeah it's an OK premiere, could be better but yeah it has potential
Then cut to Geralt's fight at the end!! Ooooh myyyyy God!!.... If all his fights would be as epic as that, then we're ahead of an epic journey with this show... The way he moves and swings his sword is as much BADASS as you could possibly get
It's a good first episode but I can't form an opinion that quick, so I'll keep watching and hopefully we get more of magic, monsters and potions
The Jerome stuff is great. The Barbara/Ras Al Ghul stuff is kind of dumb. Just wish the Jerome actor didn't use a voice that sounded so much like Ledger. Otherwise he's brilliant.
But Jerome just happened to have a twin handy somewhere and the writers always said Jerome wasn't the Joker. With their weird and often cliche writing. I had a feeling right away, the twin is the Joker. Unless he's just an idea as well, which would be dumb.
The perfect example of why you should always make backups and keep them in a different location.
Another good episode, enjoying it so far, don't mind some of the changes they've made either i.e. Jet, Azula and Ozai being shown way earlier, still feel like the pacing is a little off at times but so far so good
The biggest devation from the animated show yet. Not a bad deviation but it's stolen from 2 episodes from S2 so I wonder if we won't see it there.
Deviated material: Library spirits & Swamp truths.
I like Michael Cudlitz, don't get me wrong. But the choices made in this episode around the introduction of Luthor were making me feel like I was watching Sons of Anarchy most of the time.
Charming little story with some nice moments. Pretty cliche story other than that. Art style was pretty great.
I don't know what to say. Is it normal that Barry is so ... i dunno, dumb?
What are the writers doing? So Barry hears that he is about to go gaga and the first two things he does is chasing a meta who can drive him crazy in a instant, instead of leave that task to someone who hasn't been accused for destroying the earth yet. Great idea!
And then that thing with Joe :
When you hear something you can't believe, wouldn't you ask at least once "how" could that happen and "why"?
And btw: Am I the only one who wonders why everyone immediately reacts insulted to Barry when he talks about something he obviously doesn't know about ?
Things might make sense if Barry is still trapped by Xotar and it was all just an illusion from the point they first met. But then what would the point of this episode have been?
I thought they would have a whole series of episodes with Red on death row, not jump to his execution. That was surprising to me.
We saw some of the old Liz here, the person from season one. I wasn't surprised that after all that she didn't end up asking him anything, but I was, of course, a bit disappointed and mildly annoyed. Maybe next episode he'll use his last words to tell her! --But probably not.
Ok this episode was total crap. Reacher stands out in the open and calls out for the bad guy who could be hiding anywhere and shoot him from any angle. Then the helicopter comes in with a gunman shooting an AK or something similar and again Reacher goes out in the open with his pistol and has a shootout with the guy? Then the cop walks out in the open straight towards the bad guys? That’s just so stupidly unrealistic. No trained officer would do that. He would run from cover to cover and try and flank them or at least come at a diagonal. Was I asleep during the first 13 episodes or did the action sequences just become very stupid?
Now that's a series finale !!!
Amazing , I loved everything about it. The music , the storyline , everything!
This episode had more deaths than all 3 seasons combined.
I was worried how they'd tie up all the storylines I'm just a single episode. But they did it so well. Not even a single second was wasted , every second was an edge of the seat thriller.
10/10
Just finished watching the season premiere, and I must say, things are looking good so far. The lighting in this episode seemed noticeably dimmer compared to prior seasons, which might be because that the show is going for a more European aesthetic this time.
The episode’s score was particularly noteworthy. When it comes to Ramin Djawadi, he always delivers.
While “Jack Ryan” has some kinks to work out, I’m enjoying what I’ve seen so far and am curious to see where it goes from here.
03x01 - Falcon: 7.4/10 (Good)
I wasn’t really into this one. It’s like they are running out of ideas. It was too Bond like. The Dr. Welles stuff was good though.
Hugh:
‘Vic, you-you shot your own daughter up with V?
How could you do that to her?’
Victoria:
‘I needed to keep her safe’.
Hugh:
‘Safe? You turned her into a fucking monster.
Like you’.
Victoria:
‘I am sorry. That sounds like the pot calling the kettle a teleporting dude with his dick out’.
I am so thankful that this didn't suck. Yes, there are changes from the Cartoon but I think is ok . If you want to rewatch the exact same story, then re-watch the OG. Anyway, great fight sequences, great effects. I think we missed Aang doing some Waterbending though. But anyway, it was very enjoyable
Jesus frick the tension is insane, especially at the end, where Ressler is probably thinking "God damn it. What am I supposed to do now?"
I love episodes that stray from blacklister-of-the-week formula.
This is more my speed/style.
Star Wars and Anime were meant to be together. I hope we get a canon Star Wars Anime some day.
So glad to be back in this world.
I don't know if the person at the end will be Alder or a representation of the mycelium or something and I don't care coz she looked AMAZING.
Also bonus Kandyse McClure. She's such a cutie (and ageless!). I had the pleasure of meeting her IRL many moons ago and she was tiiiny
P.S. I shouldn't be shipping Tally and Nicte... Right?
The show continues to do what it does best.... while truth is about to unfold, a dramatic turn of events occur. Very satisfactory episode. And what's even more satisfying is the fact that NBC renewed The Blacklist for a 10th season.
Episode 5
(Episodes all out of order)
When they did said Stargirl was moving to CW I got worried, but It's actually going pretty good, it doesn't even look like a CW show.
I'm a bit disappointed that Alder's death wasn't a bigger blaze of glory. I feel like they had to cram a lot into the finale and its a shame it wasn't a two parter or a feature length episode.
Love the idea of them having to work with Nicte at the end and just love this cast all round tbh. Need more of this show in my life.
