the OG cast looks fking amazing!
good thing Gen Q has been officially renewed because that cliffhanger ending had me all tore up
Erivo's Holly Gibney is the only low point in this show, so far, after 3 season's of Justine Lupe's great take on the character in Mr Mercedes.
hopefully, im proved wrong in the forthcoming episodes. update: i was not
stumbled across this show because the network was pushing season 2 so hard with repeated commercials. usually, that would turn me off from watching, but it looked hilarious, so i gave season 1 a try while waiting for Middle Ages to begin. i really enjoyed this show, far more than i expected. it's extremely underrated as an easy 22 minute per episode binge-worthy comedy with a great/interesting cast.
faults are that it can be overly long and unnecessarily annoying, but Doug's a solid critic
if you're looking for a reliable guy that does solid reviews without excessive spoilers, than Chris fits the bill. i watch him weekly and he's opinionated and passionate about movies, without being jaded, one-sided or influenced. watch and GET STUCKMANNIZED
Toy Story 3 was the end of Andy's story. Toy Story 4 was the end of Woody's. not as great as the first 3, but still pulled at my heartstrings.
i made it this far and im not enjoying the ride. it was nice to see queens like Katya and celebrities like Adrienne Barbeau pop up, but it's not enough for me to continue, imo.
a complete filler episode, but i can forgive it because of Willam's character Douglas, which i wish i had seen more of this entire show run. to be honest, it broke up the monotony of Cal & Thom's stagnant cycled (lather, rinse repeat) storyline.
this show should have been 4 seasons of Lin Shaye's Diane and Traci Lords' Valerie - it would have been a better show
who told Manila Luzon that 90s Huck Finn was a show worthy hairstyle??? i wasn't going to mention it, but it continued on for far too long! have mercy!!! joke
i love to see Kamie Crawford as a permanent co-host, but these forced "twists" are really stupid and i think im pretty much done with this show after all these seasons/episodes.
this movie's release date was pushed back for years, and for good reason...it's bad
im rating this a 6/10 solely because Jennifer Lopez - everything else was less impressive and meh
this movie had some high and low notes, but overall it was a enjoyable dark comedy satire. Gabrielle Elyse's facial expressions gave me Maya Rudolph vibes the entire time. solid acting from the two leads; Sara & Hayley and good practical effects.
the worst parts of Mr Pickles were used in this experimental spin-off. luckily, each episode is approximately 11 minutes, otherwise, i would have never made it through the season. if it returns, ill probably skip it.
i went in blind and really enjoyed it.
the run time is 24 minutes, but it felt much longer, the way it's dragged out. i like the idea, but poorly executed like the rest.
every step/twist of this episode was predictable, but better than most of the episodes.
average, but after watching some of the other episodes, i liked it alot more, due to it's lack of pretentiousness.
i really thought this episode was going somewhere, until it didn't. not sure if this episode was meant to play out like a comedy at the end or not, because of the absurdity of the visuals used. it truly felt, like it was a joke on the viewer for sticking with this crap until the credits.
the time it takes to get to the "big" reveal, is completely not worth the mind numbing tediousness that occurs for majority of this episode.
right in the feels
crying quietly in the corner
it was a fun easy watch, but there were alot of reused video to pad the runtime - this could easily have been just a full length documentary movie with chapters for each performer w/ wraparound material to bring everything together, instead of the individual episodes.
Yovska was disappointing & underwhelming majority of this season
my quick thoughts/opinions during the challenge, before watching the panel review/decision
Dollya Black: mask/prosthetics were done poorly and the bodysuit was weak Evah Destruction: mask/prosthetics were done to perfection, great bodysuit and the acting was on point Maxi Glamour: i liked the body/outfit, but the mask was too cumbersome and was a terrible choice to use in an acting challenge Maddelynn Hatter: boring boring boring Priscilla Chambers: minimum effort on the outfit, but the acting was hilarious and the makeup gave me Pearl (RPDR) realness Louisianna Purchase: less was more, and it was definitely successful. campy acting was a good choice Hollow Eve: great looking makeup hiding behind a neck piece too big for her body (repeat offense) Landon Cider: nice use of prosthetics, great acting to sell the character
a lot of questions, not enough answers by the end of this episode. drama was on point though.
Kamie Crawford has probably been the best co host since Max left the show. if she joins full time, i would not be mad about it.
the show has become so convoluted because they refuse to drop ANY storyline - they just slap layer after layer of unresolved barely cohesive drama to pad the 22 episodes. ive stuck around for CHONI, just give them a spin off already, so i can get off this damn ride!
the first part of season 7 was terrible, but since its return from hiatus/break, the episodes, starting here, have been much improved and enjoyable.
