Calvin's backstory was explored in the book, but not to this extent. I appreciated a whole episode devoted to it and am angry all over again about what happened to him, especially now that it's been reframed.
really don't appreciate how they're trying to make me feel bad for jinny by making her marry that atrocious man because she's just been nothing but awful to all of her friends all season (but i will, because that man is atrocious)
Great episode. True what she said though. Didn’t do Jack shit except motivate the next generation to hate and bomb America. The only people Americans can kill / steal shit from and not worry about any retaliations are the Native Americans, blacks, Latinos, and all the other smaller nations who don’t have the monetary means to strike back.
Alicia is now everything she hated in Peter, all the character development (especially after the death of Will) has led to this horrible, liar, cheater, betrayer... I'm glad that the show was real and didn't give us an ending that would satisfy us just because, it gave us REAL character development and a REAL ending.
As if I couldn't love Trent any more, his idea of chilling is taking a gummy and opening up about his hopes and dreams.
I do not like Len. Jeff Garlin lacks the same fun energy of everyone else and has added a big bag of nothing to the show. Nirmala deserves better.
Good character development for Paxton all the way through. This episode stands out for me. I like this for Pax!
Apparently there's always a backup sister. Jokes aside, this really sucks. I honestly didn't expect them to kill off one of them like they did in the original and especially not at the exactly same time, after 3 seasons. Plus they already used half-sister plot, so now they're just going to repeat themselves which is quite bad. Macy is the least annoying charmed one and the only one with some kind of acting skills (besides Harry and Abby), so I am bummed to see her leave. I'm not sure whether I'll continue watching this. Mel and Maggie are not such a strong characters, too much whining and not enough of good acting. With Macy and Abby gone, Harry is the only one left who's remotely interesting. If they bring back Abby, I might consider watching the next season, otherwise I'm probably done with it.
P.S. It was so obvious that Jordan would become a whitelighter, though I really thought that Harry was going to die as well, so that Jordan would be their new whitelighter.
The scene in the beginning with Sterling and Luke made me super uncomfortable. He clearly didn’t want to and she proceeded anyway. That’s at the very least sexual assault. Doesn’t mind that he changed his mind later. He said no to start and did not give consent before she started doing what she did. That’s gross and creepy and wrong.
Courtney continues to favor ignorance and blind luck as she builds her team of superheroes to fight bad guys that she's not even sure exist at this point (beyond the one or two she knows about). Yeah, my interest is flagging hard at this point, and Beth Chapel is not helping AT ALL. Who in the world thought that this character would be an asset to the show? Thrown in Emo Boy and things don't improve at all. So basically I have no use whatsoever at this point for the two eponymous additions to Team Stargirl, and that's probably not a good sign. Maybe we can just have Courtney and Yolanda provide support to the adults on the show who continue to be far more interesting...
The fact that it ended full circle, Jane, having come out of a bag in the first scenes, to going into a bag in the last, totally, saved the finale for me
Really cool episode. I love seeing Nora Allen, even though she was the 'speedforce' in this scenario. Wow and that ending, I'm just a sucker for a new lightning color. Black and Silver? yes please!
I know most will just say that this is filler for the upcoming crisis, yes of course it is, what else would the writers be doing? Personally, I think they are filling it up nicely. This was an exciting episode that showed Barry's struggles really well.
As others have stated, Lena Luther’s story is supper stupid given they spent so much establish what a great Peterson she is & how different she is.
What an insane, dramatic, epic finale! That twist at the end- WOW! My heart is still pounding!
Wow, just wow... Talk about roller coaster..
I don't know why I like this show. Maybe because it shows that there are still decent people in politics. Because, let's face it, the system is broken.
I'm fine in Ross Geller's voice
Everything hurts.
The scene in the airplane was one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever seen on tv. And what’s with all this adoption agency nonsense.
Most 'meh' finale ever...
Maybe it will get interesting in 400 years........
This served as a nice capper to Paxton's series story arc. It was incredibly rewarding to see him help Eric, who he wouldn't have given the time of day as a fellow student; he's grown so much as a character.
Turned it off after 15 min. I hate cross promotion pilots. If I want to watch another show I watch another show.
Paul Rudd pre pre marvel
I wonder how that bio thread plot will play into the campaining because right now it seems there isn't any connection whatsoever. It just seems to be there to give Maggie Q a spot on the show.
and of course the phone saved the lol. crappy shit.
I love it when candidates are so certain of their own genius, despite being told the opposite by industry experts and even Lord Sugar himself, they resolutely stick to their terrible guns.
I’m sure she still thinks her advert was brilliant…
Wow. I’ve never watched a K-Drama be this fast-paced but, I guess, it’s a semi- K-drama, lol. I’m super confused with how I want things. I thought I wouldn’t like Kitty but I do and I love Dae so I hope they’ll still be endgame since it has to be the main point of the show. After everything, they have to come together in the end.
This is an exact representation of how I expect teenagers to feel and experience new things and relationships. I’m already guessing how the second season will start: Q will out Florian so Dae keeps his scholarship and room, things will be awkward between Juliana and Yuri, and Professor Lim will have Kitty back in KISS in no time and the drama shall resume from there!
Super excited because I love a good non-complicated non-dragged-out K-drama and this is such a light watch, Will great acting from the regulars.
I might have spied a cast member or two who were current school-goers who were also literally in the 1993 yearbook, though, lol. That took me out.
This episode felt like an epilogue for the previous season, or more so an apology/acknowledgement about last season's "Trump centric" theme. I mean i did love the third installment, but the shift of the focus was just not right. I know that life is unfair, and shit happens all the time, but that doesn't mean necessarily to lose our judgement. I missed the objectivity, so i was a bit glad with this opening, because it finally seems they accept that everything has an upside and downside too. I hope we get more lawyerly stuff in the future.
What the fuck did the writers think? the opposite of a happy ending: Alicia ends up ruining most of her friendships for helping out the flawed human being and prick of a husband she has. Good riddance.
i did not watch this whole show for her to do it with ben. tell me i just hallucinated. excuse me?? right after the last scene w her mom????
Was her heart beat 350 from being in a room that was 41° Celsius? That can't be right... right.
Nevertheless, this was horrible and Amazon should actually develop backstop so we can forget this shit show.
The plot was stupid, the time jumps was annoying and the acting was abysmal.
The only good thing was that we actually got some closure in the season 1 finale.
It's insane the show has been renewed for a second season, there is a "spyverse" now and a second show in the "spyverse" is coming next year. Well, I won't be there when they release.
