I really think some people don't understand the history behind the "history" that are watching at all. Many people 'see', but not 'observe'.
This series have a lot of connotations, such politics and social, from a showdown with a dictator; unto to release of real feelings. Almost all characters have a full evolution of her personality... even Naga hahaha.
At first I agree looks like a little child's series, but think is a masterpiece in all respects. I recommend this series to all public, seen or not any other series of the Avatar's universe.
PS. James Cameron's 'Avatar' not included. xD

Indeed. Without giving away too much info, each season basically deals with 1 political ideology: communism in 1, religious fundamentalism in 2, anarchy in 3, and fascism in 4.

VIP7Not as good as I was expecting.
Obviously they were trying to stuff as many black actors into one series as possible. Fortunately they were all pretty good actors except the top cop - she was annoying but that might have been down to the crappy dialogue she was left with.
The big finale was unfortunately predicable.

@speeddemon Um ?????? Black people exist...... promise you there's more than 2 Black people in London. why on earth does seeing Black people on tv offend you so much jeez
again begging @Trakt to do something about these before-release reviews.
this has 95% critics rating and 100% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes, yet it's 30% here on Trakt?

@bkrnk this is just an opinion. and there was no better way to express myself other than being angry. in today's world with x million tv series that were made for people to consume, this is just the low effort segment. for me. i'm just one random person on the internet. did not want to offend anyone
Omg I am so disappointed.
I had high expectations.
He took his helmet off WTF!!!!!
Where are the grunts?? I only sa elites.
It’s notebable that the dint researched the original ip.Again Hollywood took an ip and did there own cheap thing with it. To get maximum money out of it. With less effort. generic story writing. Human on human
Baby sitting a human girl. Do I need to go on?Only plus point is the look of the Spartans
Action it self is good.Everything else is bad generic cheap writhing.

It’s still good even if it doesn’t follow the games. What did you expect an exact identical story to the games? What fun would that be to watch if you have already played all the games.

Doesn't respect the history, and i believe that the american audience will think everything in the show did really happen, i doubt this show will succeed in Europe because it ends up insulting the people.

@goncaalo wait what? The instrumental to Royals, Chandelier and all of the other recent pop hits haven't been out long enough for the royals to have danced to them back then? Really? And man, you mean to tell me that all of the French people don't really have British accents? I would never have guessed that this drama didn't really happen...

It doesn't run on the history channel, it runs on The CW -- home of magical, mythical, made up shows. It's more insulting that you would think we are so idiotic that we wouldn't be able to tell that it's SCRIPTED.

I don't agree- it's a show after all( Genre: DRAMA, not Historical).
Who cares what some people might think. Some people think Santa really exists.
The show is insulting? O.o Pardon! You see insulting things everywhere on the net/ in the real world. A show can be insulting, IF it CLAIMS to be historical. This one doesn't, however. That's why Entertainment is entertaining and history/documentaries informative. Period.
Please don't discontinue this show my wife loves it.
