I started watching Awake at 9am and finished all episodes at 10pm the same day. That's just to tell you of how gripping this show is and how much of a shame it is that it got cancelled.
Jason Isaacs' acting is beyond reproach, the story is intriguing and interesting, humane, real and fictious at the same time. That's just part of the duality of Awake. The change of color tones, partners, realities, and all of the rest amounts to a great jump between worlds and you'll find yourself questioning everything as you move along.
The good thing is that the last episode ended as a way that gives closure, not a lot of it, but enough for the viewers who invested in it to be able to move on. And even though none of the endings in each world are 100% satisfying, there's solace in knowing that he has the benefits of both.
This is a comedy? It wasn't much on the funny side of things.
If you're still complaining about the show, just stop watching it! It's kinda annoying to watch the "the earlier seasons" were better after 54651 episodes.
Wow what a great start!! So looking forward to see how this series unfolds!!
I don't know about you guys, but i'm only watching it for one reason: Hayley Atwell.
(July 2018) There really needs to be an even more updated explanation given for NXT. After spending several years as a smaller, more independent version of RAW & Smackdown, NXT is now officially a third brand for WWE.
It mostly features the younger and future stars of the WWE, but in recent years has also picked up several experienced international stars. The commentators and interviewers equally have the chance to move up to the main roster too. Creative storylines are very prominent in NXT, many times they are said to be superior to RAW & Smackdown's. It tends be a more action packed, fast-paced and high flying than it's larger parent promotions too. The show is 1-hour each week, with a 2-3 hour pay-per-view every couple of months entitled "NXT Takeover". These are free of charge if you have the WWE Network, Hulu or another platform that has WWE programming.
I watch anything with Mark Paul Gosselaar. I guess because I grew up with Saved by the Bell lol. Maybe even his best work in it. Kylie Bunbury is solid as well as the female pitcher lead.
The show is so well shot that I thought I was watching a baseball movie. Plus, wow that ending was unexpected. Definitely recommend this. Just is a little baseball movie cliche but hey if you like baseball or baseball movies, I recommend Pitch either way.
Enjoyed this way more than i thought i would.... and i dont even follow Baseball but its something ive always been curious about
The scene with Ariana Grande texting sold me lol!
One of the best show. I could tell just from seeing the first episode! It's renewed for season 2 just after it's 1st episode. That's awesome.
My favourite episode ! Totally love this one !!
Interesting seeing an alternative reason for rebellious behavior for Pete and Chloe, and of course it's always interesting seeing Clark under the effect of the red meteor.
Still don't understand why it was cancelled
Ridiculous episode. They may have jumped the shark with this one :persevere:
The tribals are so fucking intense, definitely the best part of the episode every time. Hunter should have used his idol :/
Some of them are really annoying. I didn't mind Cassie to start with but as she appears in the show, she is becoming a bit irritating. Myles started out appearing too confident and arrogant but seems smart enough. He uses all the cool kiddies speak but also uses references that show he has some kind of education. Quori is also turning out to be quite switched on so it's good that she and Myles are team.
Okay, I really enjoyed this Ava and Jacob plot!
Full of cliche and bad dialogues, the one liners are what you expect cheesy as hell but nevertheless this is one entertaining 90s action movie.
the car accident case????? oh my god????????
Pants tent! Man, that callback.
I seriously hope we get a special or two at least, if not a full other series, I know what they said, but come on... :clap_tone1::clap_tone1::clap_tone1:
They are just killing Chris Noth off of everything… is his career over?
A lot of naysayers on this, butI'm here for it. Quite slow, thoughtful, laying the groundwork for what looks like an interesting story.
I'm absolutely here for Hiro Murai's distinct style, but it doesn't appear to be laid on too thick - a bit of moody atmosphere but this is quite a slick, and fun time.
Looking forward to seeing the rest.
So far, I've been interested enough to keep watching.
Soo good honestly great intro
A good start and a fascinating premise. I can't see this lasting for years, but I'll keep watching. Also, Kelli Williams still looks great.
Damn that was quite an opening! Sadly I suspected something like that would happen to that guy.
Madness, absolute (but entertaining) madness.
