In the video today, we start off with looking at why the Viet Cong were called "Charlie". We then move on to what the "bee" implies in "spelling bee", which it turns out probably has nothing to do with the insect. Next up, we look at the origins of the words "geek" and "nerd", as well as look at the origin of "tip" as in leaving gratuity, which has nothing to do with any sort of acronym or the like as is commonly stated. If you would like the text version of this and references, you can find those here: http://www.todayifoundout.com/index.php/2011/06/what-the-bee-in-spelling-bee-means/ and http://www.todayifoundout.com/index.php/2010/09/where-the-words-geek-and-nerd-came-from/ and http://www.todayifoundout.com/index.php/2013/04/why-the-viet-cong-were-called-charlie-during-the-vietnam-war/ and http://www.todayifoundout.com/index.php/2012/09/what-is-the-origin-of-the-word-tip-as-in-leaving-a-tip/
