Rape is not entertainment. 1/10
This show is worth watching for the gorgeous costumes alone.
After so many great episodes in a row this one did not quite live up to my expectations. It was so badly shot it was distracting, there were too many cringe inducing moments, Callie was completely out of character, and that ending surprised absolutely no one I'm sure. I'm very happy with Malika's plot though. Hopefully the finale will be great and the show will be renewed for a fourth season, although I'm worried like always it won't.
The original pilot was pretty great, it even had a MMF threesome. Disappointed they changed it (and the plot of several of the characters) for the aired pilot.
This episode aged pretty poorly. Not very fun to watch when half the episode is put through a filter that removes most of the pixels.
The red dress is finally back!
Dee should take over command seeing as none of the men in charge are able to do their jobs.
An odd movie with a lot of unnecessary elements (hehe) that distract from the story, but overall entertaining.
Finally an interesting episode! The Farm was a nightmare but it was nice to get some Cylon lore.
It feels like Katherine was written as a male character and when they decided to cast a woman they only rewrote the jokes. She is not sympathetic at all and I have no idea why Molly going back to work for her is supposed to be a good ending. Overall the movie has a few funny moments but most of the time it feels very shallow with stereotypical characters that have no likeable traits.
I missed Sharon this episode :(
"This is Hong Kong! You're not the first person to find yourself on the wrong side of the justice system. And you won't be the last. It's not right, but that's just the way things are over here." Ah, yes, because the British justice system is not at all corrupted, is it?
The shit I will watch for an actor I like. What the fuck was this absolute trash.
The only interesting thing about this miniseries is the post apocalyptic setting. Most of the characters are not interesting and those that are do not get a satisfying ending (no matter if that's the point or not). It's just difficult to care about characters you don't like and have no sympathy for. The plot is not interesting either so the series is simply not worth watching. I am not a fan of Stephen King or Christianity as a plot device so maybe the series had no chance with me to begin with.
Give Stephen King's fame to someone who actually has talent, please.
I stan Nadine "The Incel Killer" Cross.
OMG I didn't know they made a live action adaptation of Fallout: New Vegas.
LOL, they put Stephen King in the nursing home ad. Pretty fitting.
"She may be the hottest woman on Earth." So true.
What is wrong with Annie? I thought she was improving but she keeps doing so many awful things to the people in her life.
Getting a lot of incel vibes from Dean, he's gonna end up killing Beth isn't he?
Every time I watch this movie I'm in awe of how beautiful it is, and every time I wonder how it's possible that it wasn't nominated for an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects, but then I remember that the Oscars are complete bullshit.
Imagine making a sci-fi universe with advanced technology and the humans still eat meat. No wonder the Cylons want to kill them.
Dean and Stan continue being their despicable selves, and for some reason Annie has something against dumpster diving? I miss watching this show without being constantly annoyed at the characters.
Was that a product placement for Taylor Swift or what?
I'm loving the aesthetic of Nicola Six, but everything else in this film is so bad that I'm curious how different the director's cut is. I must say though, that Jim Sturgess really did a good job of portraying an absolutely disgusting character. 6/10
Having now watched the director's cut it's a shame this is not the one available on VOD/disc because this version makes a lot more sense. The plot is more detailed, the characters (especially Nicola) are more fleshed out, and it actually feels like the plot takes place during an apocalypse, it actually feels like a mystery film, instead of the incohesive clichéd mess that was the producer's cut. It's actually a good movie. 8/10
I like the story that's being told, and I love a film with a majority female cast, but the result is not for me. After struggling to get through the first chapters, the last two are a lot more enjoyable.
Ben telling it like it is. I wonder what Annie’s wake up call is gonna be.
Stan is an ableist asshole, the way he reacted to his son possibly being neurodivergent was absolutely disgusting.
Is this what they call a bottle season?
