Women getting their revenge against someone who abused them is my favourite genre.
40s music, 40s fashion, a diverse cast with several queer characters and actors. What's not to love?
How come this show tries to respect Che's pronouns but they keep misgendering them all the time?
This show is at it's best when the men have limited screen time.
Another step closer to queer Malika :eyes:
I love Malika's storyline. Childhood trauma and other psychiatric disorders are complicated, can make you feel guilty and ashamed for something that isn't your fault, and best of all they aren't making it a short arc that's resolved within a few episodes where suddenly the character is magically cured, but they take the time that's needed just like in real life. This show is so important and almost every episode brings up subjects that are so important to be represented in media.
Sometimes Sex and the City gets it right. Not all women want to get married, and not all women are excited about having kids.
Love the recurring statement that this wasn’t just to find romantic love, it was also to find a bunch of new queer friends:heart:
The visuals, the sets, and the costumes are all so beautiful. Can't wait to watch this film again once it comes out in theatres.
Straight sex? Right in front of my lesbian show?
Knowing how older queer movies usually go I didn't expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised, especially with the happy ending. If only I had known about this movie when I was a kid.
"Yeah, he's an incel. I know an angry virgin when I see one." Hahaha, this show is just so damn good. I'm hoping Callie gets over Jamie soon, she deserves so much better.
“Yay, it’s a boy!”
“So am I.”
:waving_white_flag:⚧
I hope they're not gonna do the old stereotype of a woman lying about being pregnant, or that she's lying about who the father is. I expect more from this show.
Homophobes dying, you love to see it.
I wrongly assumed that an episode dedicated to the events of the present would be uninteresting, but this episode was very well written and acted.
I really don’t understand the appeal of The Ghoul. Abusive man = awesome, I guess. He’s nothing compared to Hancock and Raul:triumph:
I've waited four months for the film to finally be released digitally since the first time I watched it, so I could finally understand what they're talking about in the Spanish scenes:laughing:
They're doing a good job at making Joel actually likable.
:sob: :sob: :sob: :sob: :sob:
Galadriel is so cool:heart_eyes: I'm in love:heart_eyes:
Finally a good episode!
I love this show so much :sob: Give me season two or else
Can’t wait for Alina to kill Aleksander.
I love Che and Miranda so much :sob:
It's so sad that we never got to see Beth again after this episode. I hope that wherever she is she's doing alright.
It usually annoys me when a story has several plotlines that don't get a resolution, but in this TV show it sort of works. Maybe we weren't supposed to know, maybe we're not allowed to know. For some reason it doesn't feel like bad and lazy writing. Instead it feels like we are outsiders seeing the parts of Christine's life she lets us see, because she is the one in control. It feels more realistic that way.
Please tell me Malika and Tanya are going to be a thing :eyes:
I love this show so much. It's so important, and I'm so grateful it exists:heart:
This show is SO GOOD.
Interesting how the only couples who finally chose each other were the ones the production matched.
