That last "season" should not have been made. Oh my God its totally shite. And why? Some black-washing spin-off or re-do or something? Terrible. I had this series at 9 out of 10, but unfortunately they havent been able to keep up the quality of the first 3 season's. Still, it remained quite good.... but that last season should not have been made. the last episode of the second-last season was a great goodbye to all characters and brought the story to a close. And then someone decided lets make a new series and try to cash-in on the popularity of Once Upon a Time..... terrible. So. My advice: enjoy this series and DO NOT watch a single second of the last season.
I went into this expecting so much more. Hoping for so much more.
Even Keanu can't make a proper flick out of this mess. Rotten Tomatoes score of like 10% is probably quite close. Not even sure why I gave it a 4 out of 10...
Just. Not. Interesting. Perhaps if you're 55+ yourself you might be able to related to mr Redford his character. I cant.
The movie is a bit... mwoah. Portman carries it to a 7. Tessa Thompson is not a very interesting actress. Second movie I see with her this year and second movie that she has the 'shine' of a door.
The story is interesting, has a lot of a King novel in it. The ending of the movie is not as well developed as I'd wanted to. It leaves a lot of questions unanswered.
Kids movie. Not interesting. Although I like Jack Black usually, his role in this movie was just 'off'. After the first 10-15 minutes or so I lost interest.
I loved season 1. Season 2 got a huge "big brother" and tin foil hats ring to it. Season 2 ends with a cliffhanger, although it does finish up most story lines so it's still possible to watch and enjoy.
But you can also stick with just only watching season 1 :-)
Not funny. Tessa Thompson has totally no shine, Chris Hemsworth is not even remotely funny and nothing anywhere near the Fresh Prince. The little alien pawn is so terrible in every possible way, it's almost depressing.
Great visuals (saw it IMAX 3D) and overal not a bad movie, but it's all terribly predictable (and that can be positive in the case of a funny movie, or at least - not negative... but that's both not the case here).
Good for a few ha-ha moments, but thats it.
Disappointing.
I really enjoyed season 1, but season 2 took a wrong turn. Ultimately ending in it being axed. Too bad, I was very much interested if a third season would bring it back on track.
Season 1 : 9 out of 10.
Season 2: 6 out of 10.
Overal, since there is no proper ending to the series: 7 out of 10.
Too much racial stuff and way too much wannebe-political correctness. Add a weird messy story to the mix and perhaps a focus on a viewing audience of around 16-17 and you got a.... really crap series.
I still gave it 3 episodes, but gave up as there was no sign of improvement, not the story picking up any pace.
I basically wanted to see this movie because of Erica Cerra, as I was a big fan of her in Eureka. She does quite well in this movie, but the movie itself... the over-the-top close ups of people from a strange point of view in every conversation.
Uh... the movie seems to be as fast as a guy the age of Mr Redford will run. I fast forwarded through the movie actually. This one didnt catch my interest.
Seriously? No, ok, thats the whole point. Still.... seriously?!
I turned it off after about 20 minutes.
I laughed probably... well... 2 times. There were a lot of nice references in there for the fans of sci-fi to other movies/series (back to the future was obvious, star trek, martians, many like that), but as a comedy it fails. We did continu to watch till the end, but even right up till the end everything was 100% predictable. Not Simon Pegg his best movie.
Maybe for some it's very funny, for me it was as if watching some lame attempt at a comedy show. This episode was not for me. My GF fell asleep even.
Not a bad movie, but too bad its all in German. Everything about it is clearly low budget, but the story is good and compelling.. and unfortunately oh so realistic. Rather good acting too. But when you've recently watched Passengers, then this is 2 steps down and that results in my rating of a 5,5 - 6.
Oh my good Lord what a crap this is. I got to watch this by mistake, instead of the US Doomsday version from 2008. This..... ugh. Stay away from this.
The movie was better than I expected(feared), but I am not a fan of Alicia Vikander. She was great in that robot movie Ex Machina, already a lot less in Bourne... I don't know, her emotions are not very believable for me.
Still, she was a lot more 'girl next door' here then Angelina Jolie; but I guess that was also my biggest problem in this movie with her. Lara is a computer games character where she is a strong hero. This was a fragile and insecure Lara.
too bad they wanted to put some kind of racial message in that movie; although what the exact message was is totally beyond me. The only very misplaced message that was the red line throughout the movie, seemed to be that all (white) cops are corrupt and only cops of a different race can be trusted. The whole story was a mess anyway; the sub-story around Tikka and her magic wand was.... uhm... far fetched and not clearly developed.
Very funny movie, reminds me a little of Date Night.
Don't watch this movie for the storyline, the character development or the ... whatever. Watch this movie for the oneliners, the typical rough humor that could come directly from Deadpool or Pulp Fiction with great action scenes and pointless voilence and rough language. I loved it :)
One of the best movies I've watched in a long time. Highly entertaining and great use of music, where it's not the gangstarap crap like in F&F francise, but cool dashboard classics. I love the smart use of music, like synchronising gun fire and several other activities in the movie. This movie takes all the best from Transporter, F&F, Drive Angry and... well, a bunch of other movies :) The total outcome is mix of it all and in my opinion really worth your time.
Not my cup of tea. Turned it off.
Sacha Baron Cohen is. not. funny.
Rebel Wilson is abolutely terrible.
Nothing about this movie is funny.
I watched it as 1 big movie. Quite good; dont bother with the webisodes if you can find the movie :)
NOT my type of 'humor'
I really enjoyed the movie. Simple. To the point. At times fun. Enjoyable.
It feels too much like a movie for little kids
The only really good thing about Ted1 was Mila Kunis. And she is not in this one. Not even all the famous faces and cameos can fix that.
The only really good thing about this movie is Mila Kunis (and the chemistry with Mark Wahlberg)... and ok the cameos here and there. But other then that... so-so. This type of humor is not my thing.
Maybe if you're American, you care about this part of history and perhaps it's interesting for you.... but for the average European this movie is boring and uninteresting.
