Looks like a good start to potentially successful Silent of the Lambs themed TV show. I enjoyed the Hannibal (TV series) series. But I hope this won't try to copy this. Plus the Hannibal series was a bit trippy at times. So I hope they stick with a solid deduction show and not lean too much on deep psychological issues of those Clarice is investigating. Crossing fingers!
Liking this better than all the other DC shows so far
This show is one in which the main character has to be all the times sorry for working, and earning money for his family, while one time he has been gone undercover for 10 months, like that is such a big deal, hah, and his wife was killed... WTF ? And he is doing no investigation about that, after he is back... Whats the point to kill his wife then, in the scenarios ? Just to make drama, and his dramatic idiot kids ? Oh, what a drama for nothing. And that constant music all the times, something happen and the soundtrack is getting on my nerve, what's this a musical drama. Pretty boring and dramatic for no reason. The main character does his work right, while he need to be sorry for that, pretty much it. Never gonna watch this again...... Liked the original from 1993 though...
DO NOT GIVE UP after first 3 episodes and DO NOT rate this until you watch at least 4 episodes. Thank you.
I don't understand why people are judging this show as bad just by watching a couple of episodes... I think we should wait for the first season to air in its entirety before saying if it's good or bad. I can confirm that I was very confused when I watched the first two episodes, but I've been a Marvel fan for a long time and I know that everything is done on purpose, we just have to wait and give them some time to develop everything, after all it's a tv show and not a movie, things are explained little by little.
I don’t know what these reviewers are taking about. This show is refreshing, fun, and so different from anything on tv. These people obviously don’t understand who Wanda is and what is actually happening on the show.... Do not be discouraged from watching based on their unknowledgeable reviews. This series and the acting is incredible!!
At first I thought this is really strange... then after getting those little hints of "something is not right here" it pulled me back in..
I watched a couple youtube videos of Easter eggs and I have to say this show is brilliant once you understand what they are trying to accomplish!
Part homage to TV past; Part mystery; Always the Marvel Universe lurking just out of reach. It is a slow resolve, but I’m on board for the reveal (I just hope it hurries up). After two episodes, I give this series a 7 (good) out of 10. [Marvel Superhero Mystery]. I highly recommend you also watch MARVEL’s LEGENDS which are mini-documentaries about the characters, also on Disney+ (although they may make you want to watch all the movies again in sequence).
Those who thought WandaVision was a sitcom and was insufferably boring, have no idea what is coming lol...
Never written a comment before. Seen all the negativity here and honestly, I love the show. Not knowing what is happening why and what it all means is absolutely fascinating.
I love the MCU and look forward to the next episodes and seasons of this show!!
Yup guys you're really weird, the show's getting more interesting every new episode. Don't be rude because they just tried to put us in situation with the 1-2 first episodes like in every other TV show.
Episode 1 was meh...
Episode 2 a little better.
Episode 3 First half mwah but then... interesting!
Episode 4 Everything is starting to make sense now and the first episodes no longer suck anymore! Everything is happening for a reason... wow! Mind blown...
Episode 5 give me more please!
Episode 6 OH MY GAWD! THIS IS SO AWESOME!
Episode 7 What a rollercoaster oh my gawdddd
Episode 8 WOWWWWW!!!!! I need more!!!!
Episode 9 NOOOOO I don't want this to be the end... I need more! I want another season!!! This was AMAZING!
I loved it so much! Best thing I watched in a long long LONG Time!!! :hearts::hearts::hearts:
I’m so shocked by these negative comments... this latest episode was so good, and you needed the first few episodes to play out how they did for context. You guys are weird lol.
I don’t get the negativity. Honestly you people are so entitled. The lack of context is intentional and there are several clues as to why it’s that way. It’s not a 50s to show (we haven’t seen them imitate a 60s tv show yet, that’s next week). It’s going to change probably every week, even up to the point of imitating modern tv shows like the office from what they’ve said. And the context is clear enough by the end of the second episode. Even without reading additional articles to explain the more subtle hints, you can tell what’s going on at least loosely. Plus it does a great job lampooning the absurdity of 50s tv and ideals about homemaking and marriage. To hilarious effect
Was in the same year as Rebecca Breeds, and as a wannabe reviewer - I definitely need to give this a view. Hope it's a success for her.
I really hope they make something amazing with one of my favourite female characters.
Cast looks fine - Rebecca Breeds fills the bill optically and with Kal Penn and Michael Cudlitz there are at least two decently known actors in it.
I like that the main role is played by a strong woman of colour, unlike the original typical white male.
And not your typical Hollywood svelte model either.
Production values feel a little lacking, hopefully that will improve beyond the pilot!
Omg its so good!!! Shes such a grizzly bear momma!!!
I enjoyed this show and its first season a lot more than I thought I would. I'm looking forward to watching the second season week by week once the first episode premieres and the same with the third season.
First episode was fantastic. Looking like it will be a great treatment of Stephen King's story,
Despite the overwhelmingly negative reviews I've seen, I decided to give the show a try. I found it engaging and an interesting take on the source material. I found the acting to be interesting and the characters engaging. Watch the first episode and who knows, like me, you might find yourself enjoying it.
sigh Yet another good show canceled. This one didn't even get to finish out its entire first season. Not sure if, when or where I'll be able to find the final 4 episodes of season 1 as only 6 have been made available so far.
This was a bit of a mash-up of "Wisdom of the Crowd" and "Person of Interest". But it was still enjoyable. I would have loved to have gone along for the ride to see where it would take us.
UPDATE:
Got to see the remaining episodes of season 1. Very glad they released them. It wrapped up the storyline very nicely, but also left it open for the story to continue - which we already know it will not.
How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!
Wow, this came out of nowhere and impressed me a lot - very nicely filmed, acted and interesting enough to keep my attention. Fingers crossed!
wai, why y'all haitn on Kaley?
too bad it got cancelled :( it started of so good...
Every episode is better than the preceding one... should be a bumper finale!
8.5/10
An excellent show full of twists and turns, I am really looking forward to the finale.
Expected much better from the names involved and Showtime.
Barely made me laugh, most episodes I dozed off and was so weak that I didn't even felt the need to go back.
A pitty since I love this guys.
Having the watched the first 3 episodes this show has a promising start having really picked up in episode 2/3. A pretty standard rogue AI plot at the heart and a typical FBI teamup style show but good characters, on point tech and some interesting concepts. If the stories are kept fresh this has the potential to be very enjoyable on the whole. Gave me a little bit of a person of interest vibe which is a show I loved plus John Slattery plays the crazy tech billionaire very well. Worth a watch!
