they keep throwing in new characters/names and subplots, and i just dont care - it's so convoluted
really enjoyed season 1 whodunit, but they stretched it 2 additional seasons that really didnt go anywhere and were pretty boring, imo. by season 3 i could barely finish it.
Lia Marie Johnson has been MIA this entire season, so far. idk if this was always intended (definitely doesnt feel that way) or if it was due to the very public issues in her personal life during the filming (from early 2016 to end of 2017) of this show. this season has really dragged with no forward momentum of the story (who/why). im really hoping it gets somewhere soon, because this season is getting boring quick
voice actor Jay Johnston will no longer voice Jimmy Pesto (total of 43 episodes from 2011 to 2021) - per reports, he has been publicly/formally “banned” from his recurring voice role
he last appeared in the Season 11 episode “The Bridge Over Troubled Rudy,” which aired in May 2021, and has not appeared in an episode since.
another one off filler episode - it's nice to see the cast of main characters get more backstory (via flashback) from Day One, but it's odd to do this 27 episodes into the series, right after a large story arc with alot of momentum, and leading into the season finale episode - it's grinded everything to a halt!
central narrative of Dead Asleep is Randy Herman Jr. (convicted of first-degree murder in 2019) - focusing on his side of the story
there’s little of victim Brooke Preston or the Preston family in this (they did not willingly participate)
definitely feels one-sided/skewed and a practice run (off public opinion), since Herman is currently trying to have his conviction vacated, claiming his attorneys did not provide proper defense
this episode has reached peak cringe level 100

and wtf was that seduction dance Zoe performed? https://imgur.com/a/4lzjogb
this is getting overly complicated, convoluted and silly, at this point.
the end of the episode reminded me of The Purge: Election Year or The Strangers: Prey at Night
animal abuse storyline (captive wild boar - cruel and disturbing video/audio) starts midway through this episode and continues until the beginning of S02xE08
thought i would share, since i would have liked to have been warned
this was a decent show, but my biggest complaint was/is baby Laura cried with a distorted migraine enducing pitch for the entire duration of season 2
after 14 episodes, they finally reached the point on how the two girls are connected. it's played off like a big reveal, but it feels more like it was just a poor way of telling the story in the first place.
this show is totally bleak, but we get one off lines like "white trash roanoke" that make me laugh too damn hard at something played so seriously
bouncing back and fourth following two girls; Evie & Lanie w/ one mutual creature tying it together. im hoping their stories collide or, at least, crosspaths in a meaningful way, because, at this point, halfway through season one, it just feels disjointed rotating each episode.
i dont know anything about J.C. Caylen (i had to google to find his actual name to write this), but there is something about him that's so off putting...
and just like that...it's over
on a farewell season of a long running show, they thought it was a good idea to shove in a blatant unnecessary ham-fisted backdoor pilot for Magic Motor Inn that failed to spinoff anyways. just give me as much Huang as possible, before it ends for good, is that too much to ask?
this had me chocked up RIP Norm Macdonald
all 3 girls are terrible f**king people!
i guess the backlash of loren bouchard's attempt at voicing mickey will result in a "re-deliver with a more Mickey-sounding Mickey...a less distracting choice" in the near future, per lorenbouchard on twitter
i watched 'Aftermath' and 'Within' as a double feature and it feels like i watched the same movie twice.

i think jake gyllenhaal did a great job, but i dont understand WHY this was remade, basically, shot for shot ??? i watched them back to back and it felt like a waste of time like Psycho (1960) and Psycho (1998). Antoine Fuqua needs to just focus on originals, he's a solid director !
this entire movie was convoluted - i felt aggravated after watching this due to the stupidity/nonsense i forced myself to sit through
was i suppose to be sympathetic to/for Evan Hansen? because he was, literally, the worst!
boring, which is, sometimes the worst offense!
all i could think was; i wish i was watching Cube (1997)
Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation from 2018 would like a word ...
but in all honesty, it was equal to or better than the original The Addams Family from 2019 (which isnt saying much)
it's hard to find shows with fan endings, but this hit the spot. i enjoyed it; start to finish!
imo - two half baked scripts mashed together into a "double feature" of weak conclusions. the acting in the 2021 alien segments were abysmal for the most part. episodes 1-5 of ptown vampires and the Eisenhower alien segments in the second half were the most watchable/enjoyable.
