this show went to shit after showrunner Bryan Fuller exited. total disappointment
the climax confrontation in ptown was over in a whimper. the move to hollywood was abrupt and irrational. nonsensically rushed to a narrated conclusion. what a disappointing first half to this double feature.
this is a great list - thank you for your contribution
Beth's random dessert videos are a highlight; i could literally watch a web-series of them
thoughts within the first few minutes;
PeNiS ... wtf?
accent ... terrible
Willam, on podcast months ago, said this season was rushed (because of RuPaul's schedule) and this episode encapsulated that exactly
i had to adjust playback speed to 1.5x because i didnt think i could finish at normal rate.
i was really excited about Mums, since it was based off Joe Hill's short story, but it was pretty basic/generic and the father's storyline that they include goes nowhere.
Queen Bee was terrible!
the premiere was a disappointment. this entire show has been very weak.
low budget with some wonky audio, but the short stories overall were good with some fun practical effects. there was no clear answer about the woman documentarist by the end, but i was fine with that, to be honest.
i wish there were more episodes because i enjoyed the show, but this finale was a solid conclusion
Teenage Euthanasia is basically Six Feet Under + YOLO: Crystal Fantasy
it feels like the movie My Boyfriend's Back (1993) and im absolutely excited about it
this webseries was edited into the movie 'Snatchers', released in 2019
"nerdy bullshit" - The Rowdy 3
Dirk's holistic depression this season is getting a little tiresome
incompetently made w/ an estimated budget of $12,000,000, that did not translate on screen
a real lack of storytelling and character development - it's all basic, surface level and superficial, especially, the Roman flashbacks that were meant to be emotional, but had no bearing on the events that played out. i didnt hate it, but i didnt care who survived either.
Cronenberg is giving off Kramer/Jigsaw vibes
push through the first couple of episodes and you'll be truly rewarded with some very meaningful/emotional content
visually intoxicating, but it's definitely manic and LOUD
watching this show makes me feel miserable.
deep voice Susan Sarandon
... total vibes
imo, the actress that plays George looks just like a young Margot Kidder. i just had to write that, so i could finish this very good first episode without distraction!
binged this with family while we were housebound due to Hurricane Ida storms. it was easy to watch, had a lot of twists and kept us interested in the whodunit/investigation throughout.
Netflix has this as a limited series, but the ending definitely felt like there was more story to tell. it was gross, it was weird, but i had a good time watching it.
one of the few documentary/found footage style horror movies ive actually enjoyed.
95% yelling their lines. i understand the need for urgency, but i feel there was more acting in the original. it's pretty grating.
sidenote: there are 2 different versions of this movie; neither are great
not bad, kinda cute in a weird way.
the scripted show was very good and the docu-series is heartbreaking.
