Yasss, Elektra! That win was very satisfying.
Such a disappointing episode. There are so many queens in this season who are not very likable, such mean spirits… and the one with the greatest spirit gets sent packing. I don’t feel like it was very deserved. Loved her energy. But I’m glad Karen gets to stay.
The brightest moment was Elektra getting the awesome critique from Ru. I’m rootin’ for ya, girl.
I am SO happy with this win. She is so deserving for so many reasons.
Another great episode! Also, I don’t dislike Tamara, but I think she’s borderline obnoxious. Just a little too extra. Ginger and Michael, on the other hand, are absolute class acts. Excited for the finale.
This one started strong and then kinda went off the rails. And the Outlander theme kept throwing me off lol.
Somewhere, somehow, I missed the entire point of this story. It all felt very disjointed and fairly meaningless. The time jump offered nothing. The existence of that creature felt purposeless. And the motivation of Pickman was lost on me. Squandered potential amongst gorgeous production value.
That was a fantastic episode! Bummed about who went home tho. I’m sorry, but I think Tamara is a bit overrated.
I didn’t hate this. It was a strong setup, but it felt like it wasn’t given enough time to finish properly. Sufficiently atmospheric and well-acted, but otherwise rushed.
Kate Butch looked ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. Straight out of an old black and white film. It was perfection. A well deserved win.
One frustration: I don’t understand the praise for Tamara’s ridiculous runway look. I could have made that outfit myself. Completely lacked any imagination whatsoever.
DeDeLicious absolutely destroyed that lip sync. Did not see that coming.
That was an incredibly boring episode. Felt like forever before we got to a challenge. And when we finally do, it’s another underwhelming obstacle course.
I’m over the combined reward/immunity challenges. Separate them and give us less talk. I know we wanna get to know our castaways, but these convos are far from compelling, and I miss the creative challenges of yore. Give us tension. Give us something fun to watch.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… take notes from Australian Survivor. They’re getting it right.
Did I watch the same lip sync? Because Cara clearly didn’t know the words.
I love that contestants are in the opening credits again.
For many, I couldn’t tell the difference between the first and second looks. Otherwise, great first ep!
One of my fave TB episodes. I love love love when Sookie confronts Maryann — and we get a peek at what Sookie is capable of. So badass.
That pie scene. A subtle, yet powerful, expression of loss.
I vividly remember being so shocked by the ending of this episode when it first aired. So. Frickin’. Sad.
THIS is how you start a show.
I’m actually throughly entertained by this show. Just watched these five episodes back-to-back! Is it groundbreaking television? No. But I’m enjoying the journey!
I’m not understanding all the complaints in this comment section. This series is actually rather bingeable.
They made it clear, several times, that the cameras weren’t gonna be ready until the construction was done. Now it’s done. They finally showed the installed cameras. Now they’re ready. There has been no footage to check. Geez.
I also enjoy the side stories about those who lived in the house before. They build tension. And they’re pretty creepy.
Looking forward to what’s next.
Is everyone in this town insane?! Super creepy. Not sure how this show will pan out, based on some reviews I already read, but I’m loving the cast. A ton of talent here.
The way they formatted this season, with each episode focused on a character, it started becoming easier to decipher who the villain was by which characters have yet to be featured.
That reveal could’ve been a lot stronger.
This was very sad, with some solid performances.
I could watch Gillian Anderson stare into space for hours. Queen.
Neve Campbell is an absolute queen. Did Wes Craven watch this episode?
Yikes, that acting was painful. One of the much weaker entries of this iconic show.
I dunno… I’m feeling so conflicted after this episode…
Jimbo CLEARLY deserves to be in the finale, hands down. A finale without Jimbo, to me, is not one I’d enjoy watching.
But something feels very inauthentic about Kandy choosing Jessica to go home. If she REALLY wanted that title and prize, choosing Jimbo’s lipstick would have been a no-brainer.
I guess we’ll find out more behind Kandy’s decision next week… maybe she simply stood by her alliance… maybe she wants to beat the best competition… maybe she wants to avoid the internet rage for sending Jimbo home. Who knows.
I think about when Manila was voted off All Stars 4. The shock of it all. It was unfair and infuriating, but it felt real. I think that matters.
As much as I still love this show, it’s losing more and more of its pizazz. We don’t hear nearly enough from the judges anymore, and any critiques we do hear sound very watered down and sugary. I miss when they didn’t hold back.
All in all, I’m excited to see Jimbo take the crown.
It was definitely cute! The characters are already likable and the “villains” are appropriately acknowledged.
But as someone who’s gone through a similar situation, I hope they don’t make this story too sugary and sweet, because this is a true-life battle that many people struggle with. It can be a really rough road. And I just hope it isn’t afraid to dive into heavy material despite being a Disney+ show.
Ben and Felicity, forever and ever.
Jimbo is NEXT LEVEL talent. Just give her the crown already. And it is abundantly clear… so very obvious, especially in this episode… that RuPaul is as enamored with Jimbo as we are. Pure brilliance.
