Wait, what the hell? I know you can't believe anyone's death until you see them actually dead on screen or turned, but damn, for a second there I thought Morgan was really gone. Fooled me! I can't believe they actually managed to set one of the missiles off, but I'm also sure next episode they're gonna realize it wasn't actually loaded or whatever. And if it really actually happened, I'd be very interested to see if it would tie into the other shows.
Saw The Musical! Sound of Violence is a psychedelic and gruesome slasher horror exploring a very unique concept of synesthesia, a rare condition that can cause people not just hear but also visualise sound. It's so refreshing, completely original and wildly creative, I've honestly never seen anything quite like it. The visuals and sound design are great. The kills are executed incredibly well, they're inventive and extremely disturbing. It could've been better though because it obviously struggles to put the ideas together into a narrative, making it like Saw type film. But it's fun to watch. Jasmin Savoy Brown's performance is phenomenal! Can't say the same thing for the rest of the cast though.
It's like Robot Chicken, but without the jokes. I'll give it a few more episodes, but very disappointed for now.
I’m still trying to piece this together but failing miserably. Here’s what I’ve got:
They (the cult members) are angels. They were once living but after death come back to do God’s will. Leanne, like her Uncle and the other cult members, is an angel. She died (we saw her grave) but at some point after she came back she decided of her own accord to come to Dorothy and Sean, to restore Jericho to them, which wasn’t her mission. The baby she brought to them really was Jericho, returned from the dead just like her, her uncle, the other cult members, etc (the angels). The cult has taken Jericho because he’s supposed to be with them, his kind. Dorothy is sinning in that she keeps trying to interfere with the angels’ work and therefore (in their view) keeps meddling with God’s plan.
Absolutely insane episode. That last fight is epic to the max.
This episode is right up the with Mob Psycho 100's Season 2 Episode 5 as one of the most insane productions ever made for TV animation. 28 minutes of pure f*cking madness!!! Absolutely unreal!!!
A really phenomenal episode, and another example of a show that's surpassed it's predecessor, but will never get the credit for it. Week after week this show produces solid episodes as people whine and complain they don't know where it's going or why they're watching, just stop watching and we'll all be happier not reading you complaining.
As someone who's father left, this episode really hit me just like the last one did as someone who lost a child. This show takes risks and is telling great stories abour real issues that impact real people compared to the original series following some stupid comic in endless war cycles that also should've ended long before it did, and I'm glad I chose to continue watching it despite it's slow start.
Well that was extremely sad :pensive::cry:
I understand the scouts’ frustration with Eren forcing them into this battle, however Marley was bound to wage war on Paradis regardless of what they did! At least, they got the War Hammer titan now. And Zeke! (All the hints were there!!)
