best. new.show.
i like how its wild and crazy and just .. weird.
Billy and his singing, and the shows acknowledgement that he sings so much, makes it so amazedly weird. i love it.
Every actor nailed their role ; Royal and Autumn are a great pair in scenes
I really liked this ending, it has great performances and exciting moments, although many of its premises are not entirely clear, it is a great episode.
You have to be a huge fan of Mike Myers and his style of humor. It wasn't producing big laughs for me but it's actually smart below the surface. Could have been a better movie instead of mini series. But if you watch it a couple episodes at a time it's not a strain to get to the end. Which was actually not bad.
An absolutely wonderful beginning. All the spirit of classic Trek, characters that are vibrant, a sense of fun and adventure, and it brings up relevant modern issues like Trek always has. I can't wait to see where we go from here. Anson Mount and Ethan Peck are just brilliant in their roles as we already knew, but the new cast seem to fit immediately too. Celia Rose Gooding in particular captured the vibe of Uhura very well, even though we saw so little of her. And that was a nice little surprise with the Lieutenant at the end.
That's what I was afraid of: an episode dedicated to the unnecessary side storyline of madrigal. Honestly, it neither is interesting nor useful in any way.
The cinematography is great and dancing all looked fantastic. The score was amazing. The editing and sound design were great. It does a good job of creeping you out. A slow burn until the bat shit crazy third act. I need to see it again to even try and begin to understand what happened but I think I loved it.
This movie is stupid gorgeous. The colors are amazing. The score is fantastic, it really sets the mood and builds tension. The story is fine, that is not the strength of this movie but the ending is really scary.
I'm super pumped for the remake so I'm watching this again. If we get something that looks and sounds half as good as this, then we are in for a treat.
The thing I'm gonna miss most about this show is watching Julia Garner as Ruth. One of the most phenomenal performances ever.
Absolutely incredible. Animation, pacing, music, that flashback compilation... cannot wait for the rest of this arc
Seems like Michael Bay got some drones for a Christmas !
Poor writing and story arc can't be wiped away by 10 minutes of flashy combat scenes.
The way the covenant planted that girl was the most obviously sus shit ever, lol.
Totally absurd to the point of complete
mockery
Out of all the Netflix movies I’ve seen so far this year (most of them), this one is (in my humble opinion) one of the better offerings and I was pleasantly surprised by how genuinely tense and nerve-wracking some of the game level sequences were. I also loved the ambiance and stylistic flair of the film.
OMG! the last 10 mins of this episode was just bloody! Loved it! Bill Hader is incredible and I can't wait to see what's going to happen in season 3!!!!!
Great tense and emotional season finale! The way they built up all of that Barry's rage was impressive, it was so palpable by the end of the episode.
This show really grew up since its first season and I hope the third one will bring us more of this high quality entertainment.
The number of scenes that are unwatchable due to poor lighting is staggering. The plot is also fairly slow. Good, but slow.
The last 10 minutes is stupid.
Adding Alan really improved the story. His ordered, diplomatic approach is a great contrast to Orphan Annie. His acting (last I saw the guy he was in chicago fire) is good too.
Natasha plays the same foul-mouthed character here as she does in OITNB, the only difference being there's less of a substance abuse problem here. But they could show me one of these clips as a flashback for OITNB and I'd buy it. We even have sexy Daya as Beatrice (her acting hasn't been very good, though, she's kind of flat.)
Why does Orphan Annie keep ending up with John? Is she really trying to make amends or does she just find him a convenient ally for her emotional distress.
Finally, things start to get interesting! And it took this long for Nadia to become likeable.
Two unknown people stuck in the same time loop sure beats just one, I'm curious to see where they'll go from here.
But, seriously, what about Oatmeal?
I would have called 911 in that girls shoes!
Very nice how creepy that scene was FYI
Enjoying Amanda's performance, and the guy playing Sonny.
this is awesome! thanks. I was getting tired of looking through 30 other lists
I'm quite impressed that this show is still managing to keep me interested and wanting to come back for more !
I watched this in the movie theatre 22 years ago and I've rewatched it again today (because I plan on watching the TV series based on it). I was hoping I'd see it differently, after all this time. But, alas, I felt the same way both times, this movie just didn't do much for me. Everything's too boring and too trivial to peak interest, most characters are excruciatingly annoying (maybe on purpose, but still, it's too much), and the slow pacing and dull dialogue don't help, either (way too much "yah").
It's a pity, as I enjoy most of Coen brothers movies quite a lot (Burn After Reading and The Big Lebowski are some of my favourites). Maybe the third time's the charm.
A third of the way through the season, and I must say that I am impressed. It reminds me heavily of the landmark first season of The Walking Dead (https://trakt.tv/shows/the-walking-dead/seasons/1). Very well thought out, great atmosphere and realistic and consistent characters make the universe feel lived in and important. Really looking forward to the show as it goes forward.
Biblical theology if I'm correct? Tree, Forbidden fruit, Serpent - Sol being ultimately the analogy of the Devil here?
An emotional rollercoaster of a movie that had me laughing one moment, crying the next, and gasping in amazement throughout. It’s not perfect but its one of the best MCU films thus far and has enough in it to please fans of Spiderman. Do not expect to be disappointed.
This movie is simple, yet thought and emotionally provoking. After seeing it, i felt satisfied yet wanting more. Would recommend to anyone with spare time and a interest into the scifi
This episode was slow and boring and all over the place for a CW show. And what's the deal referencing Superman? Maybe the next episode will be a lot better.
