So after all that they just let the rebellious clones walk away? I mean, anyone who has seen Rebels knows that Wolffe will eventually change sides, but did nobody else in his squad really had a problem with letting their #1 target walk away (Isn't "Good soldiers follow orders" still a thing due to the inhibitor chip?). How are they even going to explain that to their superiors? The resolution just felt poorly made.

@essenslug Ok, that makes more sense. But I still find it hard to believe that no one else in the squad objected to letting them go when they were both outnumbered and outgunned.

@ghax1111 It was a plot in an earlier season that the inhibitor chips eventually stopped working
Not alltogether bad but watching it almost 10 years after it aired you instantly get the feeling this is one of this (now) overused story arcs of a cat and mouse game between a cop and a genius killer who will always get away in an unexpected twist until the final episode where she makes a stupid mistake.
The whole setup is very generic, the characters are clichèd (cop with marriage issues, child prodigy killing her parents) , and I am already tired of the sexual angle. Plus there is an awful logic issue: why did no one in the crematorium find the gun parts ? If you want to be recognized as an intelligent drama don't make such mistakes.loading replies
Yeah, I feel exactly the same about this show just having started it ... Not only the gun parts, but why couldn’t they have Zoe identify the voice? Isn’t that basic 101 police work?
This was a hilarious episode! Loved seeing another side of Casey's personality! Great character development

@si_crazy Especially after being told he needs to kill Chuck once the new Intersect is functional!..
Acting is ok, visuals are great, Iroh and Zuko were the best here.
But what I‘m annoyed with is how they completely changed Bumi‘s character. Iroh is slightly different, too.
And the worst is how they changed the story. Zuko and Iroh weren’t supposed to be in Omashu.
The Omashu tunnel should have come later.
And when will Aang start water bending? He hasn’t even touched water since the beginning. In the original series he starts in the first episode. Yes he was in the avatar state but still…loading replies
@NBA20 it’s not supposed to be a copy of the animated series. I don’t want to repeat the same thing again. I am glad they are going with a new story

VIPThe earth bending in particular looks incredible! Can't wait to see the earth kingdom parts.
Am I the only one that really liked the episode? Sure some things were rushed or off but they also had great scenes/elements from the anime! I like how they also try to make it their own. I do wonder how people like it who don't know the original (feel free to comment to let me know )

I haven‘t seen the original series or movie, and I found this first episode incredible. The story is fresh to me, the visuals are amazing, it’s easy to connect with the characters. Definitely thumbs up, hope it will continue that way.
What type of BS is this. Zombies. Seriously Wtf. This series is plagued with weak ass script written by a bunch of woke teenagers.

@whos_ur_buddha Look up the history of Dathomir and the Nightsisters. It's not random BS thrown in as a lazy writing tactic.

@leanmrk Agree--- this was an absolutely delightful way to put it all together. Probably the most comic-book-like of nearly any of the myriad comic book movies and shows Marvel has put out yet.
Wonderful.
The death scene of the Baby was too much for me. 0/10

@desmond206x I really liked this episode, but the baby scene.. my daughter is 1 months old and it hit me hard
Amazing!
Apart from the scenes with daredevil which I adored, Jen going mad and damage control showing up, this is the plot I root for on a super hero show, not some personal growth issues at a wedding...loading replies
@hamadam Well it's a sitcom, so personal growth issues is defintely something I root for
This Betta have daredevil in it

@iwatchalotoftv it's not his show. It's She hulk I want to see
As someone (apparently) without any sense of good taste, I found this episode to be highly amusing and thoroughly enjoyable. Haters gonna hate.
loading replies
@misnomer It's been absolutely charming the whole series. I agree.
With a "franchise" (gods, I hate that word) as large as the Marvel stuff, there's gonna be stuff NOT FOR YOU, everyone... It doesn't make it bad if you don't vibe with it. :D
i didn't think it was possible for an MCU show to get worse with every episode, but She-Hulk somehow manages to up the cringe factor every week. ep 6, and once again, nothing of interest happens, which is a common theme for this show. Jen goes to a wedding, her friends back at the office represent a man who gets out of marriage by killing himself (he is immortal) and that is basically it
they devote a few seconds at the end of the episode to the actual plot of someone wanting She-Hulks blood
loading replies
@quasar1967 Besides it being the hilarious MCU introduction of the famed Avenger Mr Immortal, leader of the Great Lakes Avengers, sure, nothing "important" happens.
Does something "important" need to happen in every episode? Did something "important" happen in every single episode of Friends, for example?
Jessica Gao is just an outright awful writer who disgraced every actor and actress in this show by ruining a wonderful Marvel character. If she believes that every man is like this, she really requires substantial help. It's really terrible. If I weren't a completist and wanted to know everything about the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I would've already abandoned this show. I will have to endure all of this, tragically.
loading replies
@eddierdy I'm more concerned that even though the series also shows normal male characters, you only look at the toxic ones to shout "she thinks all men are like that".
Let's see if it's going to turn out that you identify with those types of men and the one who needs help is you.
Complaining that you're "tragically going to have to endure" watching a series is nothing to beat your chest about either.
It was kinda interesting but, The Silent Slenderman made it a bit irritating..

@feeltheduck I watched five seasons of Game of Thrones, never once realizing that the opening sequence changed with every episode until years after I'd skipped every one of them.
I may have actually rewound this opening.

VIP4I think if I tried pointing out all the illogical parts of this episode I'd run out of space, but let's just go with the dumbest part: Why on earth did they bother with bringing Dixon and O'Donnell on the chopper just to dump them? Obviously it was just an excuse to open the doors so Reacher could crawl in, but so far this season the writers don't seem to bother asking themselves "what is the goal of the character here"
And why was Reacher in charge of what happened with the money? A bit weird, as he's not their boss but whatever

You clearly weren't paying attention... 'The Terminator' told you why, and why they dug the bullet out of the leg... It's good to keep up.
That was a satisfying ending!

30 minutes, of which 10 minutes look back at the previous episode and intro and credits. So 20 minutes an episode. WOW how bad. Surprised this episode still gets a 6 from viewers here.
loading replies
@peterthegreat71 Why should the length of a show be affecting the rating that much? Also, the episode is exactly 23 minutes 30 seconds from the "MARVEL Studios" intro to "Georgia" outro, with a 1 minute 39 seconds show credit.
As a former soldier I wish this show had a much better military liaison or at least writers who can do a bit more research. Most of the Army scenes are so cringe I have to walk away before I start shouting at the tv.

Welcome to television shows. As a computing engineer I know this feeling too well when people use computers.
If Reacher thinks he's too good to follow the rules of that "Officers club" why doesn't he go somewhere else? Kind of a douchebag to start a fight like that.
loading replies
Yep, I thought the same in the moment (and at his “mail police” comment), but at least it was somewhat mitigated by the later-revealed manipulative team-building intention. Still leaves a bad taste in my mouth after seeing how they were pummeling the already-downed bodies of those innocent guys who were pulled into his self-induced fight..
