Elton John always has been some kind of a comic figure for me - like Homer Simpson - simply entertaining but not real.
I went into the movie to maybe find out who the person behind this figure is.
The shocking fact: there is no one behind it!
Just a tragic existence of an unloved boy like the are so many. There is no depth or deeper meaning behind this figure.
If the movie wanted to prove the absolute shallowness of a well known tragic figure, it did well. Yes, there are many reasons to feel sorry for him, but not because of his special story - maybe I felt sorry for the huge emptiness behind the comic figure Elton John.
In that regard I will always remember this movie. It's very well done though.
This is with no doubt one of the worst movies of all time! In the beginning I thought this would be funny but it is so ridiculously bad that I had to quit it. Total waste of time.
The first 2 movies were better, simply because this one lacked any reasonable story. Sure, you don't watch John Wick for the great story, but I expected at least a little. In other words there was no development at all - everybody is at the exact same spot at the end.
There was one scene that was really ugly though and I had to look away because it was too brutal: when his dog licked his face - so disgusting!

I've never watched a movie that tried to be funny but failed so hilariously that for over an hour I didn't even realize that it should be funny! Whoever has written this really lacks any sense of humor - and also any sense of what makes an action movie successful. The only question is: why the hell did Liam Neeson say yes to this movie?? Maybe he is friends with the producer and was bored? This all makes simply no sense at all... That's so bad I got no words...

Well, that was "special". A wonderful romance story of a man and his love for his job. Deep insights into the nature of the human psyche in an awesome scenery. I especially liked the colors - the Red was superb. Characters were deep and I got the feeling that I want to spend an evening with each of them. A movie for the whole family!
This was a perfect movie! Awesome story, directing, actors and soundtrack. A clear 10/10! The setup was like a Coen movie, execution like Tarantino - the best from the best.
I've never watched a movie that was executed with that much perfection on every level. This is a 20 out of 10. By far my new favorite action movie of all times. Highly intelligent in the details and a story that makes me want to see part 2 as soon as possible.
I'm still wondering how I could make it through the whole movie... It was like on every turn they could make, they decided to go for the most obvious and boring road. Not one moment it was thrilling nor did anything unexpected happen.
This is pure art in a way... The art of making the most unintelligent film in history. 99 minutes of pure boredom and a story that could be summed up in one sentence. I recommend to just watch a YouTube video instead - doesn't matter which one. You can thank me later...

If you love Frank Castle, do yourself a favor and skip 11.5 episodes and watch the rest 1.5 episodes like a movie. I can't remember when I was last so extremely bored - if it wouldn't be about Frank, I would have quit...
Ok... The thing is this: Just forget the stupid story with the dog. No... Forget ANY story - it simply has none. BUT this movie is a piece of art in the category of action movies. Think of Kill Bill without any story and add even more coolness. ;)

Awesome actors! I love the scene in Victorian London. Everything is perfect. Just one fault: I hate the story. I can´t stand Frankenstein and it´s slow and annoys me. Just not my taste and I´m totally sorry for that and the potential I miss out.
