Personally I prefer Olympus on all accounts. Sure it's a matter of taste but I´m not seeing one area where this was the better movie.
Visually nice to watch but besides that it doens´t have much to go for it. You know how the story will end. And it´s not suited for younger children it has a bit too much violence. And I doubt teens might fall for a fairy tale.

Like most others said there are a lot of comparisons to "Die Hard". This movie does not reach the first of the "Die Hard" series but let's be honest, the last two weren't that good either.
That beeing said I would recommend Olympus if you're looking for a couple of hours to keep your mind of, don't analyse it to death. Like a lot of other action movies it can't hold a lot of water.
If you already know the history of Formula 1 this will propably tell you nothing new. If you only know F1 from its modern days whatch this.
In any case this is the best documentary about F1 that I've seen so far. The pictures together with the soundtrack are awesome. Mixed with quotes from former drivers gives you an insight how it was and what it meant to be a race drive in the 60's and 70's
Well, it´s Fast & Furious. You know what to expect when you read the title. And it delivers.
Absolutely unrealistic and over the top action movie. LOVE IT!!!!

First movie in a while that kept me in front of the screen from start to finish.
This movie depends on the urge of the viewer to want to watch the end despite it´s confusing back-and-forth plot. I had to convince myself every 15 minutes to go on with it but after about two hours I lost interest. After that it played along without me taking much notice.
An hour and two stories less might have done the trick.
if you know what to expect from theese kind of movies you won't get dissapointed.
yes it's nothing knew, everything has been seen before but on the other hand an action movie is what it is. Some have decent story lines others don't. Beside that an explosion is an explosion and a gun fight is a gun fight.
If you don't like it don't watch it.

Just watched the ext cut. Actually if you take the movie itself without comparing it to the first it´s quite good. If you like action and CGI you won´t get dissapointed. Story is OK for the genre and if you do compare it to the first I think the story is even better in places.
It is not a must-see-movie but it´s good entertainment.

But where the original Tron was outstanding, and at it´s time something special, Legacy doesn´t offer anything new. Today it´s just another CGI Movie. It doesn´t stand out in my opinion.
Don`t like the fact they put the Tron charakter in but choose to make him faceless despite the few scenes at the beginning. And the Clu charakter looked kind of weird. Supposed to look like a younger Flynn he seems more like an old one who had plastic surgery.

Unrealistic scenes ? Well, yes - its a sci-fi movie not national geographic.
I agree they could have gotten more into the aliens to give it a bit more depth and overall the whole movie is like a melting pot of severall others.
Nevertheless sometimes I need movies where I don´t need to much intellect.
If you are, like me, a fan of Gary`s hard stuff than this will bring you back. It will simply blow you away. Amazing, memorable performance. Not just because this was the last Live recording before he passed away. He even played three new songs that where supposed to be on a new album he was working on.
In my opinion he is still one of the best guitarists ever because of the way he played, He could make it talk to you like few others and he shows it here.
So turn up your gear because the sound is awesome. Enjoy.

watched this mainly because i´m a neeson fan. only problem with the story is that you know what will happen. nevertheless this was a good one. and in times of all these multi million dollar special FX spectacles (which I do at times also like) one should take time for a movie like this.

Those who hate it, too, will probably agree, those who like it may call me a disgruntled Trekkie. What the heck, I've been called worse.
I've endured the Abramsverse, Discovery, and Picard but this is where Star Trek dies.
It took me ten minutes to quit. The whole style is covered with "attract attention" and "sensationalism". Just one example: Why do I have to put a big reverb over an interview? That's why these documentary films are not taken seriously.
Now, do I believe in extraterrestrial life? Yes. Do I think they are already here? No.
I do not believe that you will find any serious answers here.
Back in the 80s this show was hilarious. Like many others I became aware of it through the "Land of Confusion" video by Genesis. The 2020 version is soso at best. Some jokes are good and hit the point. But there are also complete episodes that didn't even produce a smile from me.
If you are of the older generation and remember the world history from the past you should probably better watch the old episodes. That is, if you can find them anywhere.
I am a firm believer in the existence of extraterrestrial life but I have yet to see even one documentary who can actually prove that.
Turned this off after two minutes because even those statements that are made there don't let me to believe this could be it. Just another one that twists facts and presents proof to fit his theories and than calling it facts I assume.
I could be wrong but I don't want to spent two hours to find out I wasn't.
I wanted to watch this because of the narration of Cate Blanchett. Then I read Terrence Malick and my enthusiasm hit rock bottom. Watched the first 10 minutes and my worries were confirmed. If you have a problem with Malicks movies, don´t bother. Im sure this is not for you.
Typical AHC stuff. Light on facts but heavy on loud rock music and testosterone driven commentary.
Can't tell you much about the movie as I only watched 10 minutes or so. But if you're not willing to read subtitles you should stay away. Because depending on who's in a scene the language is either english, german or italian.
And since it's a fictional story better watch a documentary if you want to know the real story.
That's eight episodes so far this season and this is the fourth I rate 5 or below. Hadn't one good laugh in it.
I'm somewhat surprised that even viewers back in '66 accepted that they can bring anyone back from time, but Doug and Tony, at face value. And, theoretically Travis should not have been able to witness his own demise as, at the moment they brought him to the future, he ceased to excist in the past. Therefore he couldn't have been shot. Agh, I did it again. Thinking logically concerning the plot.
It was kind of weird though that Kirk (I never get over the coincidence of that Name) didn't instantly recognized the Alamo when he saw the soldiers and knew the year.
Informative but not very engaging. Another one of those documentaries where you just see footage to support an audio book style commentary.
I really thought I'd watch at least to the end of season one but I was immediately out of it at the beginning of this episode.
A tanker with desperately needed water for a crisis area and not one (!) person as an escort. No police, no military, nothing. That's BS writing.
