A great story with a LOT of plot-twists that never gets boring! One doesn't know until the end who is on who's side...
Except for the ending (where Jimmy doesn't go to jail even though he has committed two murders) this is a great movie! What I don't get is why Eastwood only hints that Sean tries to get Jimmy to jail and why he doesn't end the film with Jimmy's imprisonment (additionally I found Jimmy's wife's statement at the end of the film ridiculous...)
Nice idea for a plot and a solid performance by Denzel Washington make this an enjoyable thriller, although I would have liked some more details about Azazel...
Not what I expected after reading all these reviews, claiming CoM as one of the best movies ever made! The story is certainly very good, but something was definitely missing (I don't know what exactly...)
Very scary and sometimes shocking horror flick based on the eponymous PC game: a girl, burned nearly to death because the village elders think she's the devil's spawn, takes revenge on the whole town of "Silent Hill". The ending (the return of Rose and Sharon after the destruction of the Church in Silent Hill by Sharon's "Twin") is somehow strange: are they both dead and live in a parallel world or why can't Christopher see them?
One of the few prequels I know that surpasses the original! Very entertaining & with a great message: "Sometimes you have to give up your dreams for the greater good".
The very brutal third part of the Saw series is partly too gory and sick for my taste. But since the plot is exceptionally good for a horror movie, I still liked the movie.
A very cool, fun and intriguing last part of the Spider-Man trilogy! Highly recommended (as are the other 2 flicks) even though it's the weakest of the 3 flicks in my opinion.
But what's true for the slogan of the movie ("We always have a choice") is also true for the film itself: while the other two were a little better, Spider-Man 3 is still great and I would choose to watch it, even if the other movies are better!
Old-school horror flick, but still great and very scary! I can recommend it wholeheartedly to every horror buff.
Very brutal and scary horror flick about a family of 7 (the Carters) led to a death trap in an abandoned US nuclear testing facility. Hunted by a flock of mutated and cannibalistic monsters / humans, the Carters have to fight for their lives. When the mutants kidnap Doug's baby, he tries to track the baby down and turns berserk on every mutant. The only bad thing about this film is the annoying stupidity of the family members: in every other horror film (and in real life) they would have died after the first 20 minutes!
The X-Men series is after the Dark Knight trilogy the best comic adaptation that I know. And this is the beginning of it all.
One of the few action blockbusters you need your brain for! Like "Blood Diamonds" it is very disturbing and brutal but (as with BD) this helps to tell the story and make it more "believable". Cage does a good job (which is rare I think) as an unconscionable weapons dealer and Hawks an even better one as INTERPOL agent. Highly recommendable!
The plot would have been nice but the Bond gadgets (especially the invisibly car) are too much. I'm happy that this was Brosnan's last Bond flick and therefore the last Bond movie where James doesn't get a scratch from one million bullets fired at him! And it is unbelievable how obvious and cheap some blue-screen scenes look in the year 2002!!!
Interesting and intriguing SciFi movie.
One of (if not the first) blockbuster digital animation movies. Unfortunately its focus was solely on the (then impressive) special effects and graphics and a good plot was forgotten.
Very mediocre comic adaption. A "one time watch" with a lot of violence...
It's an entertaining watch anyway. In the end, Dalton walks but lets enough clues for Detective Frazier to frame Case.
What bothers me and what I don't understand is the films message: Stealing from rich people isn't a crime? Blackmailing people is necessary? To be a good Detective isn't enough, one has to blackmail the right people to get promoted? Or what???
A fun and entertaining action flick with some nice ideas, extraordinary characters and fast pacing plot but that's all...
Disappointing (horror?) thriller by Tim Burton: while the general plot is not too bad, it is never intriguing and the plot twists are no good as well. All in all a "typical Burton freak show" that even Johnny Depp's appearance can't safe...

One of the early digital animation movies, Ice Age had this "certain something" later movies of the genre (e.g. Ice Age 2) miss. It is very funny to watch and especially Scarts will make you laugh out loud!
"Der Schuh des Manitou" is one of, if not THE, funniest german comedy movie I know. Although Bully Herbig in general is not always funny, he nails his role as Abahachi...
The beginning is promising and the ending is open and makes one think. Unfortunately the middle part is too weird for my taste and I find it not very believable (e.g. that James accidentally lands in the same psychiatry as the twelve monkeys leader does, that later on Dr. Railly just happens to recognizes the assistant with the virus at the airport or that James has the first WW bullet still in his leg in the Year 1996. Did they send him first to France in WW I and then directly to 1996 and if so, why is that?).
A huge disappointment compared to the 1st "Narnia" movie which I liked very much! But with "Caspian" you realize how weak C.S. Lewis' books, on which the Narnia series is based, really are...

Great movie although it takes a little long to get going: Graysmith is a cartoonist when the first Zodiac murder occurs. Over the time he gets more an more obsessed with helping the police (and solving the case himself when the police doesn't try anymore).
As with most of Tarantino's movies, the interwoven stories by themselves are not that good. However, the mixture of them makes the whole movie is entertaining!
There is a lot of violence and drugs involved (as can also be expected by Tarantino).
Fast, fun and entertaining: what more do you want from an Hollywood action flick? The brutality of the flick was a little unexpected for me.
Great thriller and start to a terrific trilogy!
