Everything I wanted and more. They went whole hog in these scenes together. It’s like returning to family :relaxed::relaxed:
So this is Star Wars. What is going on with modern Star Trek. It’s not Star Trek.
Exceptional Rusical. I find I am very annoyed that I am already invested in the queens at this point, because I had already decided I wasn't going to keep watching if they didn't fix the bullshit judging situation from the first season. The first episode was perfect, still obviously democratic and different but you had Brooke take the lead, this is how it needs to be operated. Brooke as the show leader. Make it your own any other way you want, judges in the work room and all that. But it needs a single voice, the entire runway section of the show, vote democratically, but it needs to be one voice, and it should be Brooke.
I will die on this hill.
I love when Mumma gets pissed. Always satisfying.
The way I screamed DADDY!! :knife: every time Robert was on screen.
A just fine ending for a show that admittedly became a chore at some point. Nothing wrong with it, but I’ve grown to judge a show by its ending, and it’s far from perfect. Needed a lot more. Inoffensive, but lacking.
Skip season one. Priyanka wins. Everything about this season except the contestants are awful, judging, the judges, and the judges mostly.
Jolie’s Tomb Raider is not terrible, it’s camp, and based on a video game that was camp. Turns out when you remove the camp and over the top action and fantasy from Tomb Raider you get this. This was weak sauce. The character is supposed to be aggressively upper class and badass with an attitude to match. This movie was well acted, and the action was fine. But it has no stupid fantasy fun, I was so bored.
This was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever seen.
This is exactly the kind of g*y I need in modern television. Thank you lord :pray:
MODERATION EDIT: Edited out an offensive word.
Fuck this noise, the only scandal I need from this show is the judges making some stupid ass decisions and the occasional piece of equipment being stolen.
Wow this is bad. So bad. Aggressively bad. This isn’t a replication of the times this is a characature of a fantasy of what teenagers were like. Joss Whedon may have had a stroke of genius when he wrote this but honestly this is just garbage and it’s shameful Whedon wasn’t given control.
Just watch the series.
I refused to watch this for years because I thought it was going to be a white saviour movie starring Matt Damon set in Ancient China and I was not here for it.
I was wrong, there are for more reasons to not watch this. Okay first yes, white saviour, two insane fantasy nonsense that is too far removed from any mythology to really appreciate, and some really crappy plot, with little character development.
Props to the cinematography, the costumes, the visual effects. I mean if you go in with no expectations at all it’s an okay watch. But ultimately there was a reason I didn’t watch this for over five years.
Finally a good movie, I've watched a lot of absolute crap lately and this finally broke the spell.
I don't know if I am just wildly unimpressed by anything anymore or if this was just as boring as I found it to be. Today I said "lets put on an easy to watch silly little action movie", I found this and hey who doesn't like a good or even bad movie that stars Dwayne. Yeah it was a waste of time. This was trying to be a fun family friendly Rock movie but with the action of some of his more intense action films. Basically it flopped.
Meh, I mean the twist and the last ten minutes where good but everything else was meh. Basically nobody asked for Chris Rock in a dramatic role, and oh no I’m supposed to care about dead cops. This did nothing for the franchise.
Jonathan Tucker makes me moist. 10/10 good episode.
This episode was uncomfortable for a multitude of reasons. I mean we can talk about how Ru chose to deal with Scarlet's past actions until the day I die. Frankly Ru, while qualified to comment on the offensiveness of blackface, is in no way licensed to speak for all people of colour let alone First Nations people. Basically I applaud her for giving Scarlet the chance to make amends, learn, and grow, but she should have been removed from the competition, especially because the photos are not the first time she's engaged in blackface. The work room scene was honestly the best part of the episode because the queens aren't letting her get away with this "I was young" crap, you are ten, it was wrong always, let alone five minutes ago when you did it.
But that aside, I am so mad at this American perspective of vulgarity. One, some of the American queens have gotten a pass on similarly vulgar things. But Ru, you're married to an Australian, you've clearly met at least one Australian. We Australian's have a more vulgar sense of humour by nature. So you wanting the queens to brand a quote "yeast spread" unquote, because you can't say the V word without paying for the name rights, and you expected these Australian queens to not equate "yeast" with vulgarity. I am sorry but this is bullshit. Australian humour at its finest. Etcetera deserves better. This is in no way as bad as Canada in terms of judging, but this episode was just really questionable. The judges need to take a hard look at themselves here.
That lip sync, despite one of my favourites leaving, was honestly sensational and Maxi really did the damn thing.
The cast in this episode is absolutely stunning.
Absolutely beautiful story telling, it was sensitive and humane.
Why does this show have to do me so dirty like this? Making me cry every damn episode. I work very hard at being distant and emotionless and then you throw in a restoration of faith, a relatable character, and a homosexual in the early sixties being accepted by his family. I am a mess.
I am so invested. Much better then expected, honestly just a very high caliber cast of contestants.
No, I refused to watch this. One no crossovers necessary in this show. But who’s idea was it to introduce the concept of magic within this universe. Bullshit.
Neither here nor there. Well acted, fantastic costuming, but it just simply isn't that interesting to be honest. A movie you're content having watched once.
The gratuitous violence, the blood, and attempted rape wasn't enough apparently, they had to throw in unnecessary homophobia. This movie was going to be just barely okay in as much as I'll basically watch any big animal monster movie, but seriously that was not necessary.
You get props at least for adding the political drama of an unstable country, but then you ruined that by having a white lady singing amazing grace just to remind the audience that not only did we capture and enslave these people for centuries in your own country, but also that we forced christianity on the ones we left.
This holds up surprisingly well considering its age and low budget. A little slow, with some random casual nudity I feel was thrown in to get a higher rating, but the characters are engrossing, the special effects makeup is fantastic, and the transformation sequence is iconic. Overall a classic for a reason, and it should be watched by any fan of horror or warewolf movies.
Yay, bye filler. How do we still have seven hundred episodes left?
I mean I didn't hate it. It wasn't great, the pull here is Denis O'Hare being a sensational actor as always. It was a fun concept, but trash ending.
