Good ending but I can't help feeling that something is missing
I am so angry right now! :rage:
Interesting start.. I am intrigued
Funny how the title is "Someone has to die" and I already have a list of people I want gone
The famous cliche in turkish series: Instead of telling her the truth, I will break up with her and make her hate me :pensive:
Frenchie: “Don’t be so closed minded” :joy::joy::joy:
When Stormfront said "And the most important man in the room..." I totally thought she was gonna say "Hitler"
Such a funny episode! :joy:
This season finally picked up the pace!
Overall a good movie with solid acting. I love movies which are set in one location, and given that this was based on a play, the setting seemed perfect. I have to say though that it takes a bit of time to get into the movie in the beginning but once the party gets going, it really picks up.
I really have no idea why I keep watching this show! It gets on my nerves so much, at this point I am just angry!!
I hate Sancar's personality with all my heart! I can't believe the writers who wrote Gediz's character are the same ones who wrote Sancar's. If the show is supposed to have a happy ending for Sancar and Nare, then this is really ridiculous! For the first time, I really can't get behind the "supposed" couple nor root for them to get together.
That being said, I really hope they do not ruin Gediz's character in the upcoming episodes.
One more thing, they really made Menekşe an evil wife just so people wouldn't support her, however regardless whether she is a good person or not, you DO NOT bring the woman you love to live under the same roof as your wife!
P.S: I am not even gonna comment on the fact that Nare was so successful in removing the bullet & that Sancar's "pain" kept coming and going :unamused:
One of the funniest comedians ever! Truly laugh out loud moments!
The episode wasn't bad but so far this is not as enjoyable as Season 1.. I don't know if is it the plot or the dialogue, but it seems like there is something missing.. And those talking gills! :confounded:
Barış' brother is so annoying! :unamused:
Such a beautiful episode :smiling_face_with_3_hearts::smiling_face_with_3_hearts::smiling_face_with_3_hearts:
And now that the love story officially began, a new conflict arises: Alp Tekin being responsible for Eda's parents' death
The ending would have been much better if not for the stupid execution..
All in all, it is a fair show.. The acting is really good, the beginning was much better, it all started to go down hill at the end.
And one more thing that really pissed me off throughout the show is that Dahan is supposed to be the good guy we are rooting for, however an innocent young man (the one who liked his sister, I forgot his name) died because of him and he didn't mention this once! Since he is always been a good guy, it would have been interesting to show his internal conflict between doing what is right and executing his revenge.. The shift in his character was not very convincing. I mean we are supposed to believe that suddenly he is playing the mafia game better than anyone :unamused:
I liked the idea of the movie and it is definitely one you might enjoy if you don’t think too much about it.. However, here are a few issues I had with it:
I don’t really know how exactly to rate this movie but at least I can say I finally got that one off my watchlist.
Good start! Excited to see what Aya Cash's character will be like!
So far the show has managed to succeed in pulling this adaptation off. The main differences with the french series being:
- Feris' love interest is obviously a male rather than a female
- Kıraç has another daughter as opposed to a son
- Introduction of a new character (Barış) for the romance part which I don't really mind. The actor is very charismatic.
Barış Falay, Canan Ergüder, and Fatih Artman are great in their roles.
“Our attention can be mined. We are more profitable to a corporation if we’re spending time staring at a screen, staring at an ad, than if we’re spending that time living our life in a rich way.
And so, we’re seeing the results of that. We’re seeing corporations using powerful artificial intelligence to outsmart us and figure out how to pull our attention toward the things they want us to look at, rather than the things that are most consistent with our goals and our values and our lives.” - Justin Rosenstein, Facebook Former Engineer, Google Former Engineer, Asana Co-Founder.
Very interesting documentary about how tech companies capitalize on human psychology and precisely on our weaknesses. A great point mentioned is how the fact that feeds are "personalized" for each user gives us that false sense that everyone agrees with us simply because everyone in our news feed sounds just like us. Getting exposed to opposing opinions, fact checking news, and choosing what to see rather than just going with what is recommended are just a few of the ideas to have somewhat of a control over what we consume.
