They butchered the reunion. I hate it. It makes no sense. She just saw a man he doesn't know and hugs him because... destiny? what the hell? And her first words are "who is yennefer?"??? ughhhhh
loading replies
@reguire It more likely is about Ciri's power as well and she has seen him looking for her in flashes. That's why she wonders who yennefer is as well.
This episode was so cheesy. The dragon cgi and voice over was horrible. The dragon is in a massive cave, yet when he talks, he sounds like he's in closet, and they didn't even animate the dragon's mouth or facial expressions. This show feels more like Sabrina the teenage witch than Game of Thrones.

@asiacrisp
How high are your standards when it comes to CGI? The dragon looked fine as far as CGI goes. Good, even. The main complaint regarding it that I've seen is the overall appearance. It looks more like a wyvern instead of a dragon or a chicken with wings, people are saying. And as far as the voice-over goes, Villentretenmerth was apparently speaking to them telepathically, so that explains why his mouth wasn't moving. But I agree that the voice-over wasn't that good.
OK it's a good show so far but the timeline of this show is killing me LOL, I'm still confused one what's going on
Also they talk in codes all the time trying to delay revealing the info which to be honest is bothering me a little
I'll save my opinion till I get to the last episode and hopefully I'll actually understand what's going on

@nasserfeed the timeline was confusing at first, but it got clearer a couple of episodes ago. There are only two lines: Ciri, and everybody else. Ciri's storyline is still in Geralt's future: the first time we saw her was in a banquet the night before Nilfgaard invaded Cintra. And the most recent event in Geralt's time, as told by the dwarves, is Nilfgaard preparing to invade Sodden, then Temeria, Redania, and even Cintra. So, Geralt and Yen's timeline is still behind CIri's. I hope they'll catch up in the season finale
Erm.. okay I'm so confused

@progshine No they really shouldnt. As someone that has read the books i dont agree with that at all. If the show cant tell whats happening without additional knowledge, it has failed in that regard.
I however also dont think that Calanthe not being dead and not married to Eist yet is horribly confusing. Both of them are definitely dead and if they are both walking around it has to either be a dream or the past. How is that hard.
Erm.. okay I'm so confused

@jgierer12 i got that after watching this episode, but is so messy that they dont show time passing or clarify that exists others timeline going, you can only find out on this episode
Erm.. okay I'm so confused

@ponderism That's an entirely different timeline, it happened decades before the Battle of Cintra. The baby that Pavetta is pregnant with (and Geralt claims by law of surprise) will be Ciri. I agree though it's very confusing, the timelines are all over the place in this show.
VERY cool action scenes. I wish its storyline was as good... it's kind of boring to me :(
loading replies
@maplab the stories so far are based on the books. The books cover them extensively and there's only so much time per episode.
This world sucks. What a crappy depressing place fill with nasty assholes.

@anthoney65 Welcome to the world of The Witcher
Good God that song at the end was dreadful.

@kd6-3-7 Jaskier will never really fit the tone of a serious, dark fantasy show though. He's way too positive and innocent for that. Hence, he makes silly pop songs instead.
Did they make a show about a sociopathic bitch with abandonment/daddy issues who builds an AI android who to this point has now rejected her? I feel tricked. I was expecting a lot more from this. Would have been a lot more interesting if the girl was a weapon built by the old guy, or some shit. Building artificial life to feel loved - I feel 100% cheated.

@alexnader keep watching. What you think you know after this episode will blown out of the water after episode 10.
I've never watched a single episode of arrow-verse and I was like WTF

If you've watched Batwoman then you have watched arrowverse so what fucking stupid comment tjis is
Sigh. A crossover to the Arrowverse - I though we had all moved on from that years ago.
I'll admit I couldn't get to the end. The problem with these type of cross over stories is you have to be watching them in sequence. For those of us not in the US, it doesn't always work like that - companies here don't necessarily broadcast in the same way the US companies want us to watch them, which just makes these stories nonsensical.
loading replies
@dtsouza well, i dunno what to tell ya, for those like me that do watch them all, we love, and look forward to the crossovers, because they have happened in the comic books for years, so it would only make sense that if there are multiple shows from the one comics brand, that every so often a team up would occur.

@peteo lol. crossover hppened last year. These episodes are the best of all the series.
Crisis on Infinite Earths...
5 different shows, but I only watch The Flash.
Gave up on Supergirl, Arrow and LoT. Never any interest in Batwoman.
Pretty sure they try this crossover thing every year in the hopes that The Flash can save those other stinkers.loading replies
@phug They do it because it's something comics have always done and it's just a fun thing to do
Well, I was just wondering if the real Bloodwork would make an appearance! Too bad it was just for like a couple of minutes, I guess CGI is expensive. Is the Bloodwork storyline done? What about Ramsey? And what about Nash Wells? Did he think that The Monitor saved him from the blood-zombies when it was actually Team Flash? Huh. At least Crisis On Infinite Earths is finally here!!!!
loading replies
@chuchitzu I think the storyline with Ramsay is done for now, I mean, he is alive and being held at Argus now so he can always break out and come back at some point but they did say that his illness was developing very fast.
Nash thinks that the Monitor saved him, yeah... and it will probably lead to him becoming Pariah during the Crisis.
Iris cares so much about Barry. Yet she’s off doing feminism stuff. When he is stuck in a dream state ? Plus if Barry is vanishing soon. Shouldn’t Iris be pregnant with Nora ?
loading replies
@jim222001 @marinka678 The initial crisis was supposed to happen in 2024, so Iris was supposed to get pregnant at that time. Now the crisis has been moved to 2019. Five years before pregnancy.
Maybe I'm just tired of this show but I laughed hard at Esperanza, Iris is getting annoying again, flash is whiney as ever and casual Frost is not my cup of tea.
Time to stop watching soon.
loading replies
@hildebread Right there with you. Was a good surprise to see Barry get out of the depression so quickly though. That was a real "oh God here we go again..." moment but luckily that didn't stuck for the rest of the season
I think Lena is overreacting. Kara confessed and apologised, what else does she want? I don’t like what the writers are doing with this story. Everything else was greath though and Katie McGrath is perfect as Lena.
loading replies
@minibutmighty - Totally agree with Thogek (previous commenter). Although, we have certainly been hearing enough from Lena herself about how untrustworthy the people in her life have been... so personally I can see how that could drastically affect someone whose core values are founded on truth and trust. I don't think she's overreacting, but the writers definitely haven't done a good job of adequately showing us what they've instead been telling and that is indeed bad writing.
Srsly? Are you f***** kidding me... A so predictable end that i couldn t even believe it.... 1/10
loading replies
@inselberg Predictable but awesome. People hand out poor ratings carelessly on here.
That was interesting but not the ending I was looking for. I would have liked more hero vs hero action. It was a strange game played between Madelyn and Homelander. We needed more Black Noir. and less Fishman.
loading replies
@anthoney65 I'm not sure what I really think of it, and what I really wanted out of this ending, however I completely disagree there. This is great character driven show and I love it for that, Black Noir is a nobody (at this time) and does not fit in here.
I love Frenchie but they should have casted a native French actor. I’m sure it’s not that difficult. Sometimes the French lines are not super fluid or not totally on point but I guess only a French native will hear it.
At least he was listening to Youssoupha . Hope to hear more French rap thanks to this character.
The soundtracks are great so far regardless of the langage :notes:.

@kcador Tomer Kapon is from Israel, a lot of people from Israel speaks french, maybe Frenchie isn't from France but they call him Frenchie just because he talks in french, but that is just my assumption.
Samir ist freeking me out. His reaction or rather lack of it, when he is told his mother has died was terrifiing. His relationship with his father is as unhealthy as hell.

@syntis Adult terrorists don't come out of nothing. He's male so he looks more to his dad than to his mother. It's not uncommon. The only difference is who his dad is.
So… are they reviving Lex?

@chuchitzu I think for the CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS crossover.

@harboejacob my guess: weakened from the surgery and weakened by the chemicals. plus...plot development ;-)
Just finished this episode. Took me 2 days to watch...that’s how boring it was. If you decide to watch this episode, watch the first minute & last minute...everything else in the middle is incredible waste of time & adds no value. Think of it this way...it’s an hour of your life you will never get back.

How come Crowley was able to get out of the tape in the voicemail recorder, but Hastur wasn't?

@misnomer He made the call and hung up before Hastur was able to get out. That's what sent him to the tape. At least that's what I get.
How come Crowley was able to get out of the tape in the voicemail recorder, but Hastur wasn't?

@misnomer Crowley jumped out right before the tape started recording, which trapped Hastur in it, until eventually somebody called that number again... ;)
Wtf just happend, they better renew this show.

@ibrahim_ It's already been renewed for a 5th season which also will be the last season.
