Hi everybody! just a thought... could be possible that the mysterious green arrow come from another earth or queen from past/future? maybe response in the crossover?

I'm going with illegitimate 1/2 sister.
How can you blame Iris for something she will do in the future which she doesn‘t even know the context neither the reason
loading replies
@penderfoot You also cannot dismiss Nora's argument just because of how they are right now in the timeline, people change. We already saw what a few years of losing Iris did to Barry back in S3 who knows what Barryless Iris is like. Iris probably did it to prevent her from disappearing like her dad but we don't really know.
This show can be either fantastic, a complete boredom, or unbearable. This episode had a bit of the three of them. The prison scenes are completely badass and although I'd like Ollie to suit up real quick, I want to see that badass Oliver again. Btw, Ollie's prison buddy is totally gonna be bad at the end of the season. The dude was way to happy and thrilled to use the guard's family to threaten him. Also, "What's the plan? Beat him up? Torture him for info?" "No, we do it my way". Question here, since when is that not Oliver's way?
The flashforwards are on their own interesting enough. I'm dying to know what the help has happened with Oliver and Felicity anyway the hell is Roy doing there all alone.
I'd watch 42 minutes of Dinah and Laurel teaming up and being absolute badasses. Their scenes together were gold and they have great chemistry together. I loved how Laurel came back at the end to apologize for killing Vince (justice for him, lol) and how she wants to be good despite all the evil she's done. Also, trying to kill the DA is nothing new. I'm amazed as to how Star City manages to find new police officers and new DA who either end up getting killed or are inherently evil.
I started the season liking Felicity. Itlasted only 1 episode. How exactly does seething she's get Diaz? By whining at him u til he surrenders? I'm starting to count Felicity's fuck up from now on.Id hate if Diggle or anyone elsestarts making excuses for her, like-new always do. I mean, she almost got John killed and he apologized to her. Seriously, wtf?
Is it me order anyone else disconnect when Felicity and Curtis aretrying to magically hack something? I feel like if I paid attention, I'd just go crazy. Did they just hack a trip to separate the wagons?
And how did Diaz get that flamethrower? Did he summon it or what? because it just appeared in his hands.
I can't believe the writers gave us Prometheus, a badass villain, for just one season and that we're stuck with Diaz for two.loading replies
The scene where the two sonic cries dissolve the silence barrier was my favorite of the episode. Although that chick sure got up and ran away quickly.
Great episode once again! Besides te whole 'aliens are bad, people are good' stuff, which has been with us since the fish season, the whole episode was quite good. Those hate crimes they were commenting on the show need to be talked about, but to me, it's getting a little bit repetitive. It's as if they just picked up one topic only to drop it at the next minute but keep on talking about it.
The whole Kara trying to use her powers without actually showing that she's Supergirl was actually quite good and pretty funny. Lena's gotta be suspicious now. So Kara leaves the room and 5 seconds later Supergirl appears. Coincidence? I think not!
Silly me for thinking that this would finally be the episode when Lena found out Kara is actually Supergirl. They're seriously dragging it way too much. Now I'm not buying the whole Lena already knew. If she knows she wouldn't be all buddy buddy with Kara. But writers, please, just let her know. It's seriously dragging Lena. She's one of the most intelligent people in the world, yet she's still clueless about her identity.
I love Nia. I seriously love her talks. So passionate and warming. I love that she waited until it was necessary to mention that she's transgender. That's actually how people talk and I'm glad the writers went that route.
Also, something tells me that Nia went to that pizzeria for a reason and not just to get an expresso. Who goes to an Italian pizza place to get a coffee when there are dozens of coffee places near your office? Her scene with Brainy was totally worth it, though.I'm disappointed. If I'm not mistaken, Brainy ordered 12 pizzas, but he left with just 5?!?! Come on! I'm disappointed.
His relationship with Alex is starting to warm my heart. It's great to see both if the bonding. I'm really happy to see them growing up.
I wonder what Russian Kara is up about. I thought they might talk about it a little, but nothing. Guess we'll have to wait to see what happens.

Headcanon: They let him leave with the pizzas they had already made at that point, so they wouldn't go to waste. But said no to making the rest.
I, for one, will never be eating there again. One star on Yelp.
I hate stories like this. Tales of the Noble Racist.
"The Noble Racist wouldn't be so racist, but they just had all these good rational reasons to be."
Real people are almost never actually like that, it is just the story they convince themselves of to make themselves seem less hateful.loading replies
@echelon_four What's rational about his thoughts though? His dad wouldn't work with the new steel simply because it was foreign. Then there were alien attacks (similar to terrorist attacks irl), done by bad people, but the episode also showed the good aliens, like Supergirl and J'onn. The guy had plenty of opportunities to see the full picture but he chose to look where his dad had pointed him, like only seeing the bad in his house burning down without the part where J'onn essentially saved his family.

@echelon_four This episode is in no way a defense of racism.
It's Liberty's origin story. A story that shows how nothing is clear cut, how no one is 100% right or 100% wrong. Reality is too messy for a declarative good vs evil narrative. And this man's reality is that he wanted to be tolerant and take the high road... when everything was still going well. But as his comforts and security got slowly stripped away, he gladly traded that tolerance for an outlet for his inability to accept creatures that, while not the same species as him, have the same issues and needs as Earthlings.
I like how there was a brief moment when his actions got recited out loud and he looked as though he wasn't even sure if that was him they were talking about. He had never once stopped to take stock of himself since back when he was talking his own dad down from being the household racist. Even people with the best intentions go bad, even if their goals are something worthwhile (protecting his family and the people working for his dad's company). I can't even say with certainty that -I- would have kept taking the high road after seeing my family go through all of that, but at the end of the day how his "nobility" manifested into hatred is completely on him.
But of course, this is Supergirl and not some oscar-winning Sundance film. So by the time the episode ended, Liberty went well past expected norms for a person falling from grace and became a full-blown comic-book villain that we'll never be able to take seriously again. At least it was neat how they paid attention to time-sensitive details and got Alex's hair and everyone's outfits right depending on when in the story they were.
The FBI dude said they did have any current charges against Matt. They would have never breached his door or put out an "arm and dangerous" without charges.

@anthoney65 hadn't thought about that. but maybe he didn't wanted to let Foggy know what they have against Matt. Could be strategy.
Third season in and I'm still not sure what to think about Snyder.

They actually pulled it off.
It's the same story as usual when someone dies in a police-show. The survivor holds the case open and meets the new character on the way.
We all know that story...But somehow this was still entertaining (at least if you like the Lethal-Weapon Style).
If you ask me - this episode was better than the whole last season.loading replies
@player8472 I wouldn’t know. I’m not going to rush to see it like I used to. Not Lethal Weapon without Riggs.
I finally figured out the writing style of the show. Lots of good stuff at start of an episode. Big action scene at end of episode. And middle filled with useless & boring stuff.
loading replies
@d0ndada middle is boring? Was some great character building in this one!
In the opening intro song of the series, you can see a large blue-ish big ball at the end where all the planets are aligned in a straight line.
loading replies
@misnomer "isn't it supposed to be our Sun, affected by the protomolecule?"
No because you can see the sun being farther away from all the planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars and Jupiter) and this big blue thing is at the last after Jupiter, possibly the nucleus of the ring idk.
https://i.gyazo.com/c14c3163a66864c3a430a5a10b443088.png
It turns blue after covering all the planets btw.
The more answers we get, the more questions they open. I hate that and I love that at the same time.
I haven't read the books so this is pure speculation.
It seems they're going down the "ancient civilization gone extinct" road, with the sphere being some kind of "hub", numerous gates (we see a dozen of them in the first shot, then dozens more) being seen collapsing / going dark except for one at which the Nucleus fires a beam : what appears to be the Sol star goes boom. It'd be a bit weird to show the Sol system being seeminlgy destroyed as the vision is kind of a "rewind and play", maybe it's a warning to Humanity (like the speed limit inside the sphere being lowered after the grenade was used) ? The synopsis stating Holden sees past, present, and future. It's unclear if the gates closing down / going dark are a direct action of the proto-molecule or some kind of defense against a yet unnamed third-party (intergalactic war between two alien factions ?).
The reoccurence of the bird also seems to indicate that the one Miller saw on Ceres was already a protomolecule hallucination, maybe to guide him to Julie ?
To think there are three more episodes in the season... good thing it was picked up after SyFy dropped it. Maybe I should start reading the books ?
PS: the protomolecule really loves recycling humans.loading replies
@sunny_senpai Season 3 finishes up book 3 out of 7 so there's a lot of material to be covered. I also don't want to spoil anything – go read the books, they're great!
the idea is great, but the acting and writing is plain awful...
loading replies
@jordanculp20 they could at least waste a little bit of the budget for that plane explosion in the end. -.- ... also the fbi agent arriving and say out loud to them what happened like that made me laugh
If you are on the outside of a spaceship, you don't really have to hold tight, there is no air resistance that can drag you back. You are basically travelling at the same speed as the ship itself
This is a decent Sci-fi show, but I really hope someday there'll be a one that has its science right.
loading replies
@john_conan at that part the ship's thrusters were open and firing, so you are accelerating but if you lose contact with the ship, it's gonna accelerate while you are traveling at the same speed.. so yeah you are not exactly right..
The visuals really reminded me of Star Wars, and the main character acted like Han Solo. Even his jacket was similar. The CGI effects weren't cheap, making the planet look beautiful. The main actor didn't strike me as particularly good but I'll keep watching the series to see how it goes. The ending was great and in line with what we know about the story of Superman. Although isn't the Fortress of Solitude a place specific to Earth?
loading replies
@rosetheflower The fortress was coded on crypton, as they had the ability to manipulate crystals and strata using it for data storage and making shapes. The fortress can be anywhere and it came from Krypton, so no it's not specific to earth. I love the inclusion of adam strange too, the greatest (earth) hero of Rann.
Well, I'm not happy with that explanation. I can understand the whole "Hey, Borden's still alive and kicking. What a surprise! Nobody expected it, but somehow it could've been possible that he survived the explosion even though he also had a gunshot". It could've made sense if the CIA had know about it and somehow covered it all up. But nope. The CIA didn't cover it up because they had no idea he was still alive. Are we supposed to believe that none of the FBI agents came in there after the explosion to check out Borden's dead body? Or some of his DNA? Just to, I don't know, check that he was indeed dead? He was one of the most wanted terrorists, threatened and almost killed an FBI agent and they just assumed he was dead. Seriously they could've come up with something better.
I'm happy, though, that Patterson didn't end up speaking to him. I thought they were dragging it until she would come into the interrogation room and have a few words with him. I'm glad that didn't happen. Rich keeps on being one of the best characters on the show. He has the best one liners. The whole scene with that agent was pure gold. I'm glad they all vouched for him to stay at the end.
The Roman-Crawford subplot was great. Their relationship this episode was amazing and how great was it to hear Crawford calling him his son? Family. That's Roman's week spot. I hope he's not getting second thoughts about Crawford, though. And that sudden illness he's got? Does it really have to do with the ZIP he was injected? If that's so, Jane should have it, too. Anyway, let's see how it all develops.loading replies
@jbaby_9783 well, I'm no expert of drugs so I have no idea about it, but it could be possible, 'cause when Jane injected Roman with it, she did it in a rush and she probably didn't get the dose right. Let's see.
First, I'm not a fan of a cliffhanger at the end of a season. They should wrap a season nicely. Especially it's cruel and wrong to end on such a big cliffhanger where they are not sure that they are coming back.
Also I don't know if I like when they break their own rule. The rule that they can't go to a timeline where they already exist is the strong point of the show. They shouldn't break it.
loading replies
@atlantis14 season finale cliffhangers are fun! At least they are when we know the show is coming back for another season... Regardless, I really enjoyed this one.
As for your second paragraph, Flynn already hinted that they eventually find a way to travel back to their own timeline (that's how Lucy gave him her diary, remember?). I'm sure that subject would be addressed in the (now cancelled) third season.
So you mean to tell me that after all that fighting and battles you going to turn around and become the very same thing you fighting... ridiculous.

@jojo-sxm He's making Harlem great again. He even built a wall, and made the Italians pay for it. Harlem's Paradise is gonna be YUGE!
A few silly mistakes away from being a perfect pilot episode -- the big one, of course, being the failure to inform OtherHoward of the flowers given to the nurses, despite something like 185 chances to mention it.
loading replies
@jimgysin it was obviously part of the plot and a way to show the difference between the two characters in terms of professionalism. The main character is no super agent, as opposed to his counterpart.
No just No
Enough with the weak scenario, with milking one plot for the whole season, with low budget small environments, with not caring about what's happening on its own parent universe.
I mean WAS IT SO HARD TO MAKE HALF OF THEM DISAPPEAR IN THE END BECAUSE WHAT HAPPENED IN INFINITY WAR???
This show became garbage for the last few seasons, I'm hoping it's not a money problem and it's something they can fix if not the next season will be last...loading replies
@hamadam If you're watching AoS for the connections to the movies, you're missing everything the show is about. There is no reason for the show to mention events from the movies when the movies keep paying dust (no pun intended) to the MCU shows in ABC and Netflix. And this episode was supposed to be the series finale... do you really think they'd end it with them saving the world and then half of team turning to dust?

VIP8Me, circa a week ago: Okay, I have to prepare myself. This episode is titled "The End", the ratings are low, there's no way we're getting another season. This show's had a good run. I'll always love it, but it's 100% getting canceled.
Agents of SHIELD, crashing through the window and punching me in the face: YOU FOOL. YOU ABSOLUTE BUFFOON. YOU GODDAMN COWARD.Whoever in Marvel fought so hard to get us season 6, I am forever in your debt (even though we won't see those guys again until summer 2019, but that's still better than nothing) because WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK WAS THAT?
I don't remember the last time I cried during an episode of any show. But what happened with Fitz was so completely unexpected that I froze in shock, and then, when I saw Jemma's smile slowly fade as the realization set in, I broke down in tears. Sure, one could argue that his struggle with the darkness inside of him this season was a bit of a foreshadowing, but I didn't see his death coming at all. I could barely watch the rest of the episode because everything was blurry. I couldn't believe it. FitzSimmons have spent 5 seasons getting ripped apart over and over again, and now that they've finally gotten married, Fitz dies. I had the most horrible, nauseating feeling in my stomach. The only thing I could think about was "They better bring him back or so help me God, I will burn Marvel Television to the ground". When they mentioned the other version of Fitz floating in space, I felt like the biggest weight was lifted off my shoulders. It's going to be fine. My babies are going to be fine.
Coulson going to Tahiti is a nice full circle kind of thing for him. I know they'll probably find a way to keep him alive anyway, but I enjoyed that moment.
Daisy and Talbot's fight was so damn good. When she launched herself at him, I felt like I was watching a proper Marvel movie. I'll never understand why this show doesn't get the respect and the recognition it deserves. It's a goddamn gem in every way and every Marvel fan should watch it.
Oh, and I saw some people getting upset about the fact that half of the team didn't vanish at the end there, but personally I think it makes sense not to do that. Season 6 is going to air in the summer of 2019, after the release of the next Avengers movie, in which, let's face it, they're going to use the Time Stone or whatever to bring everyone back. So on the show we'd have half our characters vanish and then next year they'd just be there again as if nothing happened, without explanation. I'm glad they didn't do it.
So, I guess see y'all in a year when season 6 starts! Even though I have no idea how I'm supposed to wait that long!

@misnomer Well, then maybe the episode ended before Thanos got his hands on the Mind Stone and erased half the population? We don't really know the exact timeline here. Personally, it just doesn't bother me that much. And statistically speaking, there is a chance that none of them were in the half that got erased.

@belle333black they shot their load too early by packing all the villains in at once, BEFORE Batman has even arrived on the scene. It's ridiculous and the police department are a joke. They arrest the same villains every other week, and the ones they don't, they just let roam around free even though they should all be in prison. Showing origins of villains is perfectly fine, but when they start carrying out evil plans and they are foiled every other episode by Gordon, it just makes the idea of Batman sound super dumb.
What an epic season finale! Geez, Jon Bernthal is The Punisher just like Robert Downey Jr. is Iron Man. This season was really amazing, and not only Bernthal's acting was great, but the rest of the cast too. Just loved it. Ready for season 2.

Ralph and Izzy were surprisingly sweet. That scene where DeVoe took control of her body while Ralph watched was quite moving. And it really tugged on my heartstrings when he was listening to her song at the end.
Maybe it's just me, but if DeVoe's body starts deteriorating faster with every new power he takes, it seems kind of dumb to keep adding more. Eventually the bodies will only last him like a day. Greed will be his downfall.
